Our food took nearly an hour to come as they seemed to be loading up a vehicle with catering but no one communicated this to us. No table service. No one was overly friendly or helpful. I ordered a sweet potato salad which got a bit monotonous and would be better as a side rather than a main dish. My husband got a tasty bean burger and fresh salad. I’d order that next time. We got a delicious red fruity smoothie - can remember which one- they have so many! Bought an avocado chocolate mousse from the fridge as well and that hit the spot.
nr 1 was Cacao Nectar! so unique taste! pizza was great • salad as well • cakes chocolate also • if you nearby thats the place to eat!

Good food, even if you are not a vegetarian. Avocado sandwich was very filling and and hit the spot. The ascai bowl was quite good (small seemed larger than expected)

The place itself is really nice and the menu offers plenty of healthy yet tasty choices. Everything is fully vegetarian and most dishes can also be made vegan, which is a big plus.
Unfortunately, we were a bit unlucky with our picks.
We ordered the avocado toast, which turned out to be just one slice of bread topped with avocado and some seeds. It felt quite small and underwhelming, especially since most places usually serve two slices. A few sprouts or something extra on top would have made it more interesting.
We also tried the açaí bowl. The menu mentioned blueberry and strawberry but instead of being served in pieces or slices like the banana, they were blended into the açaí itself. The result was pretty uneventful and honestly we’ve had better açaí bowls elsewhere on the island.

This is one of our favorite places to stop in Hilo. Delicious food, family atmosphere. Wonderful daily soups, mostly vegan, heartwarming meals.

Ordered the cassava flour pizza for takeout, planning to save it for lunch—but they smelled so good I couldn’t resist and ended up eating early. Their pancake was also good

Beautiful vegetarian café with delicious fresh food, quality ingredients in every bite, and great portions.
Shared a falafel sandwich and large açai bowl with my gf and we were left more than satisfied.
We’ll be back!

If you are vegan or not, you have to try their food, especially desserts. so delicious and fresh. If you are on the island, must try their food on or out of your way to volcano national park. Hopefully they will be in business when I return after few years. This cafe would be one of my reasons to visit big island.

I had a really delicious vegetarian lunch here! The bread on my Jalapeno Ulu burger was so fresh that it tasted like it was baked that day. I finished with a delicious açaí bowl.
Cute little café with a good selection for vegetarians. I tried the Chickpea Burger and the Ulu Burger, the Ulu Burger was enjoyable, while the Chickpea Burger could use a bit more flavor. The sourdough toast was fine as well. Overall, a nice spot to try at least once, especially if you’re looking for vegetarian-friendly options.

I would give 10 stars if I could. Super fresh food. Lots of gluten free and dairy free options. The cassava pizza is a MUST try. Beautiful spacious seating inside and out.

My husband and I really love this little place. My husband had the avocado sandwich which he would not stop raving about. I had the poke bowl which I enjoyed too. I appreciate that they have a lot of food from local farms like their own. The sugarcane juice is delicious and a must try. They have a bunch of baked gluten free and vegan goods that they offer. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars, is that they are not completely vegan. There are some dishes with goat cheese. I do highly recommend this place, and I would go back again as this is my second time here on vacation.
