Aloha, We totally didn't expect the new breakfast menu , THE BEST RED VELVET PANCAKES, But overall the pancakes ARE FRICKEN AMAZING MELT IN DA MOUTH! BEST PANCAKES I EVER TASTED AT ANY RESTAURANT and I mean this... I had a starving breakfast w/ side pancakes. Portuguese sausage was incredibly soft and juicy goes well with that soft crispy bacon which was heaven, I had over-med which they need more practice. My husband had the steak and eggs, STEAK WAS ON POINT JUICY, TENDER AND SOFT like it should be. As for drinks they no longer serve beer during breakfast so we got a mimosa and screwdriver, my husband hates girly drinks he calls them. And for the soda glasses I really wish they gave refills because the glass is tiny. They don't refill your water unless you ask, but it a wait and with you trying to get their attention Wish our waitress was more friendly seemed like she didn't want to be there. And we tipped very well. I love the environment, the lighting, the view, it's clean, wish they played music like before. With no music you can hear everyone's conversation, the music did wonders. We are looking forward for dinner here...

My family was there for Easter dinner. Disappointed with the $85/per person buffet. The roasted pig was too salty. It was covered with rock salt. The crab was dry dry dry and tasteless. Shrimp sat out for hours and well I was hesitant to eat the shrimp. The rest of food was very disappointing. The brownies was dry so was the churros. Probably left out for hours. The staff were attentive and friendly. The drinks was good. Over all disappointed with food.

I was invited to a private luncheon event sponsored by a prestigious club. I was a guest and felt a little out of place within WSW.The restaurant has a beautiful view of Hilo’s coastline and there is a superb wine cellar centrally placed framed within glass. As I glanced upon their wine selection, I understood why their sommelier paired the wine selection to WSW menu.We had a limited menu to choose for our midday event. My host picked their caesar chicken salad and it would have tempted any emperor. I had a gladiator appetite and chose their mushroom burger.Dessert was not on the private luncheon menu, but I did wonder what sweet delights this kitchen crew could create. Now, I’m curious to know and hope to have an opportunity to explore their full dinner menu and savor the sweeter side of the palate.

Food was over cooked and under cooked, portions was small , Valentin's day dinner 85.00 per person not won't it.

One of the worst meals I have ever had. We spent over $200 for a terribly under cooked steak, incredibly fatty and tough piece of prime rib, and crab clusters that were so overcooked the meat was literally dried up on the inside. Server did not seem to care in the slightest. I would avoid this place if you're looking for a nice meal.

I made reservation for dinner, we were staying nearby so we walked there. We were a little early but they did seat us. The place looked ok, more catered to the wine drinkers. We ordered two appetizers, bone marrow and poke. The bone marrow was good but the poke was more t like onion poke with very little fish and those pieces were really small. I had the 1/2 rack baby back ribs and my wife had the lobster with baked potato. My ribs were so overcooked that I could tap on it with my fork and my wife could hear it from across the table. It was microwaved for sure. My wife's lobster was ok but her baked potato was also over microwaved and the cheese on top didn't look good at all. We just ate what we could, paid and left. We did leave the waiter a good tip as he was very nice. I also booked it as a birthday dinner but no one mentioned it even though it asked if was a special occasion when booking. My wife ordered some type of drink that was supposed to be bubbly but it was totally flat with zero bubbles and she said it tasted old.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by two delightful women. This level of enthusiasm and kindness continued throughout our experience. My family and I arrived at about 7am. The restaurant was not crowded, like I saw other reviewers mentioned. The large windows that displayed a cloudy, rainy morning was pleasant (would've been better if it was sunny but it is what it is). I ordered the eggs and hash breakfast. The homemade corn beef hash was delicious, it tasted genuine unlike the canned dish I'm used to. The dish came with rice and an artistically cut green onion. The presentation was great and a good change from the continental breakfast that I had the previous morning. Our waiter and another employee checked in on us and was readily available to service us with any request we had. The price was comparable to a IHOP that we have back home (NJ). I would definitely recommend this place if you're staying at this hotel. Also word for be wise, I didn't look at my coupon ticket, I grabbed some fruit before I went into the restaurant and I was not able to use my $10 off discount.

If I could give this a million zero I would. First I made a reservation for a birthday day dinner. The people in the front weren't friendly she was wearing her frowning face weirdo. But we are happy and nice. Our server her name is Lorraine I could offer her a mouthwash or something because the breath is unpleasant Jesus Christ. Another server was not looking happy lol either. The guy who gave us bread was good I could give him a tip but I couldn't find him. The rest are resting b*tch's face. We ordered our food took an hour we didn't complain or anything we were happy because the people who served us were unhappy and miserable looking I don't know why. When the food arrived doesn't even taste good and it was expensive but it was okay because we could afford to pay. Then the cake I requested was a cookie monster lol just a horrible-looking experience beyond unbelievably terrible. If I had known that this place wasn't good we could have gone to Jacky's Rays where people there are well-trained and professional and smell good and know how to smile with Aloha. If we have that kind of expensive food at least we got treated us nice. we are professional people but low-key. So they judge us based on our clothes lol. The ambiance was horrible, and not friendly at all. When we tried to pay because we paid separately. The server Lorraine said, according to her that my credit card was insufficient how on earth does a credit card get insufficient? Does she own a credit card? Like come one judge me if you are better than me. I gave her my Platinum American Express. Like she was trying to embarrass me. Like if she is trying to embarrass me at least that her breath smells good duh. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE Zero stars not even 1 but zero

I ordered a WSW burger... beef had no seasoning, no dressing, no flavor other than burnt bread and cheap bacon. The bacon was see through microwave bacon with a cheap fake smoke taste. For 23 dollars plus more to add the bacon, I'm disappointed. Our waitresses was also very fake. I am disappointed at the low quality food and the eye rolling of the waitress. I Coffman eat more than 2 bites of the burger.....

Nice restaurant in the Hilo Hotel. Great ambience. We had a table right by the window with a view of the sea. You come to dinner and choose whether you want to eat a la carte or take the menu offered. We chose a la carte. The food was very, very good. The portions were generous. Everything was cooked to perfection. The service was perfect. We can only recommend it. Be sure to order a whiskey at the end. If you want, it can be “smoked” in front of your eyes.

They seated us with a great view without asking. Everyone super friendly and kind and attentive. Loraine gave us great descriptions and recommendations! So good, just so good. Do yourself a favor and get the soup and salad bar and save room for the Banana Flambe.
