Wonderful place. Straight down BUT they'll van you back up the hill when ready. Beautiful gardens as you go down. $5 entry then coffee tasting at the bottom. Spectacular views

Beautiful gardens. You are allowed to harvest seasonal fruit right from the trees for your enjoyment. And the coffee is fantastic! Hosts are genuinely friendly and will take the time to talk to you.

Found this by accident. For people who travel to Asia and Japan, Doctor is their version of Starbucks, very good coffee shops. We have found the farm and it is self guided tour thru coffee field, plantation of tropical fruits which you can pick up and eat for free and obviously tasting their cofee. It is very relaxing experience and fabulous views.

A beautiful place. It’s even better because you can pick and eat fresh fruit. The staff are friendly, and you can also buy great coffee.

One of the favorite spots we visited. It is a coffee farm that has free samples and sells coffee, but the gardens make it worth the trip. You can eat fruit you find, such as passion fruit, star fruit, and even macadamia nuts. Or just enjoy a lovely stroll. Be aware, it's a 10 minute walk down the hill to get to the coffee tasting, but they do offer shuttle rides back up. Also note they ask not to eat outside food here.

Park your car in the entrance parking lot and put about $5 per person in the small box at the entrance gate to enter the farm.
A truly fantastic and beautiful scene unfolded as you went down to the very bottom place.
You could experience the various things for more than $5 value.
If you have children, you can pick and eat star fruit, oranges, and other fruits on the way down, and it would be good experience to crack and eat macadamia nuts in the middle area.
You can see the process of growing coffee trees and pineapples, and see various other fruit trees.
When you go down to the very bottom area, you can drink the sample coffee that three types of coffee, and you can also pick and eat the hanging bananas.
The owner is a Japanese company, and two employees are very kind and well explained us.
Since it is operated by a Japanese company, it is only operated on weekdays, and if you have difficulty walking to the upper entrance gate, you can take a van to the entrance with the help of an employee.

This is a hidden gem on Big Island! I discovered this coffee farm through a random Google search. This is more than just a coffee farm. It also has beautifully landscaped grounds, lovely views of the ocean and several other flower and fruit trees. It is a visual treat to walk through this place.

Once you walk through the grounds, you will land at the seating area which is next to an incredibly beautiful infinity pool. This is an excellent spot for rest and to take pictures. This is also the spot where they sell their wonderful coffee and some other items. You can pay your entrance fees ($5 per person) here. They accept credit cards for the fees if you aren’t carrying cash. You can also sample some of their coffee and fruit here.

At this spot, they have a shuttle which will take you back to the parking lot. Very convenient and very fun.

The staff was also very sweet and polite.

Recommend applying mosquito repellent spray/ointment.

This is a beautiful spot with very nice staff. I highly recommend this if you’re on the island! ❤️

Gorgeous coffee and fruit farm with incredible views. Complementary coffee (only $5 entrance fee per person), honey, and fruit tasting. Loved it and highly recommend.

Time passes slowly, beautiful scenery, and lots of fruit make this a paradise.
Most of the staff spoke Japanese which was very helpful.
You will have to walk downhill, but you will be given a ride back. Apparently it's okay to eat the fruit in the middle if it's ripe, so it's not a bad thing at all.
If you get such great service for $5, you'll have no choice but to buy a lot of coffee! Everyone, let's buy it!

This coffee farm is STUNNING!!! The grounds are well-kept, with a large variety of other types of trees and vegetation, not to mention flowering plants! For all the photo lovers, there are MANY photo opportunities here, with a lovely walkway, floral arbors, and even a serene infinity pool at the end of the self-guided tour, which overlooks the ocean far below. My husband and I saw, picked, and tasted various fruits and even macadamia nuts! There were several kinds we'd never heard of, such as breadfruit! The staff were friendly and courteous, serving us various samples of Kona coffee with immaculate Hawiian hospitality. In total, this was an activity that didn't last much more than maybe an hour and a half, but was an amazing experience, and one of the highlights of our trip! 👏

A stunning oasis within an already awe inspiring place. Highly recommended for a walk in a garden among all types of fruit trees and coffee. There are coffee samples and bathrooms at the bottom. There’s a $5 entrance fee, which is totally worth it.

This place is WOW. It was a highlight of the trip for me on Big Island. You pay $5 per entry and get to walk around their beautiful property with unique flowers and fruits and of course coffee. You get to enjoy the fruits as well and see how they grow. I've never seen how some of the fruits or nuts grow it was a unique experience. At the end there a pool to enjoy and taste coffee by. So beautiful and I'd go back again.
