Do not shuttle down. Walk down through the orchard and gardens. Truly amazing experience, and the coffee is excellent! Charming hospitality and wonderful service!

$5 per person to enter. Worth every penny.

You walk down through gorgeous gardens and orchards, and finally end up at the gift shop which has free coffee samples and beans available for purchase. There’s a free shuttle to the parking lot at the end as well.

You can pick ripe fruit from the fruit trees and the staff will clean and cut them for you to enjoy. We picked a couple of star fruits and oranges - they were delightful.

Unbelievably beautiful grounds for an affordable, self-guided tour and tasting. Our kids (and the adults) enjoyed the fruit orchards, where you can pick and sample whatever is in season.

Honestly one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen in this part of the island.
The garden is so beautiful! And loved the possibility of picking the fruits and also finding out how each fruit grows was interesting for us (we live in the colder part of Europe).
At the end we could taste the coffee and received some fresh fruit as well.
Entrance fee is 5$ per person and the garden is to explore on your own with a map, it’s not an organised tour. Worth it!

Such a beautiful place! We went here because the first place we went to didn’t open until noon (first booked tours of the day). Found this looking for another tour in the vicinity. This place does not do tours - self guided tours only but we prefer that. The Japanese couple who manage the property are lovely! So kind and friendly. Highly recommend!

We love visiting Doutor Coffee when we’re in Japan and it was so cool to visit their coffee farm on the big island.

You can park your car at the top and walk down through their fruit orchard, sampling whatever is ripening, to a beautiful little veranda where you can sample their coffees and fruit, and learn about how they grow and process coffee.

Staff were super friendly and knowledgeable.

Wonderful place. Straight down BUT they'll van you back up the hill when ready. Beautiful gardens as you go down. $5 entry then coffee tasting at the bottom. Spectacular views

Beautiful walk thru the farm, very pretty flowers along the way in-between the coffee plants and fruit trees

Beautiful place. Great for walks and coffee.

Beautiful gardens. You are allowed to harvest seasonal fruit right from the trees for your enjoyment. And the coffee is fantastic! Hosts are genuinely friendly and will take the time to talk to you.

Found this by accident. For people who travel to Asia and Japan, Doctor is their version of Starbucks, very good coffee shops. We have found the farm and it is self guided tour thru coffee field, plantation of tropical fruits which you can pick up and eat for free and obviously tasting their cofee. It is very relaxing experience and fabulous views.

A beautiful place. It’s even better because you can pick and eat fresh fruit. The staff are friendly, and you can also buy great coffee.

One of the favorite spots we visited. It is a coffee farm that has free samples and sells coffee, but the gardens make it worth the trip. You can eat fruit you find, such as passion fruit, star fruit, and even macadamia nuts. Or just enjoy a lovely stroll. Be aware, it's a 10 minute walk down the hill to get to the coffee tasting, but they do offer shuttle rides back up. Also note they ask not to eat outside food here.
