“Best Mexican food on the island of Hawaii! Just went there today!“

“Cool coffee truck on the side of the road. We saw that it read espresso in large white letters and did a u-turn on the street to head back and get an espresso shot. We received a warm "aloha" with a shaka sign. The espresso shot had a great flavor and we would stop by again. They offer to make any drink iced or hot. Affordable espresso prices and coffee prices as well.“

“This was the best meal I had on the island. I had a bento box with the Kalua Pork and spicy jungle sauce. Great flavor and the serving size was large. Dragonfruit lemonade was also a good treat! Highly recommend.“

“Food is better than I thought. Good hole in the wall Mexico food. Chili releno was delicious. Plenty of food. Only complaint is that you have to pay for chips and salsa. Prices were good for the island. Service was prompt. Seating slightly difficult for a party of 6. Had to sit by the A/C which was not ideal.

Vegetarian options: They informed us that the rice had chicken broth in it.“

“I loved the variety of tortillas, from flour, to spinach. I tried the roasted chicken it was delicious. perfect name, they were killer. the workers were so nice, they gave me advice where to go locally for the most fun and foods. Thank you killer tacos.“

“This food was extremely good. We are from California, so are very used to excellent Mexican food. They served the best breakfast burrito that I have ever had (and happily included amazing chorizo and beans in it instead of skipping the beans like a lot of restaurants do). They also made excellent tacos. We have been coming to the Big Island for 30+ years, and this was some of the best food that we have had (and yes, we have gone to many of the restaurants on the island, both high-end and local favorites). The location is in a small shopping center near the airport (great for getting food for a flight). It was packaged in very portable containers. While it is not a destination for in-restaurant dining because of the shopping center location off the highway - not fancy and no views - it is perfect for a quick meal and/or togo for a flight or dinner at home watching the sunset (and not having to cook). And if you don't care about views, the restaurant is clean and has plenty of seating. The stream of people at 10:30 in the morning, all appearing to be locals, was evidence of their great food. Do not pass this place up.“
