85°C Bakery Cafe - Honolulu (Ala Moana Center)

This was one hard place to find. Good thing one of the previous reviewers noted that it’s located next to the third floor parking lot. It was quite spacious and also quite empty when we’ve finally found it, and I wonder why….It has your typical 85c baked goods and drinks. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. Oh this place charges for cups for its tsp water. That’s something I haven’t seen before here in Oahu.

My wife and I went here as part of our date day and we fell in love with this place. The Vietnamese coffee was amazing and the pastries were so fresh and flavorful without being too heavy. Incredible atmosphere and plenty of seating. Can get very busy but the line moves rather steadily. We will definitely be adding this to our list of date spots.

Our favorite cake destination. their cake is the best. My favorite is strawberry and my daughter‘s favorite is Red velvet.

If you love sweets, You'll love this place...

Egg tarts are the best! But not everything was good, some breads are too dried or too salty.

I got a matcha latte & a danish! They have a seating area but it’s not as big as I had hoped for a bigger mall such as Ala Moana. The pastries are always delicious & the workers are kind.

I love 85 degrees bakery cafe, ever since I got to go in the mainland, and I'm so happy they're here in Hawaii. All the baked bread and cakes, as well as drinks are yummy. Very nice and attentive staff. The store is neat and clean inside. The only wish I have is for them to increase a variety of bread they have. But I am a regular customer and I will continue to go.

Kid-friendliness: I don't think there is any special accommodations for keiki. I usually keep them very close to me to make sure they don't touch any of the breads.
