It's good the food... quality has went down a bit over the years and the food court is filled with flies... its not this restaurants fault but ala moana really needs to do something about the flies its disgusting
Portions were generous, which was a nice surprise, but the prices felt a bit high given the food court setting. The service was quick, and we got our meals without much wait. There are plenty of other options around, so it’s easy to compare. The food was okay — not bad, just not memorable. Overall, not a bad stop, but I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to return
Located in the food court of Ala Mona center in the basement floor, Great place for local specialities! Portion sizes are MASSIVE for the price. Lomi lomi salmon has a salty dish made with tomatoes and onions, but there was very little salmon. Poi is a bit sour, but that might not be everyone’s taste. Overall, you do get a massive amount of food for the price and you get to try all the local specialties in 1 plate!
