My expectations were in the gutter considering that it’s a Hawaiian food place in Ala Moana food court. But it ended up being pretty good. Lau Lau, kalua pork, long rice, and poke are all decent. Portion sizes could be a little bigger for the price though.

I stopped by Ala Moana Poi Bowl the other day and it was exactly what I was looking for. It is located right in the food court and features that classic turo-turo style where you just point at what you want from the display. The service was incredibly fast, which I really appreciated. The workers were nice, though you could tell they were in a bit of a rush to keep things moving. They were a little short with me when I was ordering, but it was totally understandable given how...
