Our server was kind and had great recommendations! The food was nothing special. Ordered the garlic shrimp & it was deep fried with the shell on. Hard to peel off and just annoying to have to do but overall not terrible in flavor.
Our experience was exactly as other people have written. Great service, food comes out very fast and is delicious. My son had the Big Island Loco Burger and said it was the best meal he's ever had in his life!!

I read so many wonderful reviews, so really disappointed in my experience. The food was terrible. One of their specialties…garlic shrimp…so fishy and greasy. I barely ate anything from my plate, and frankly, I’m not that discerning. Just awful. The server was okay, nothing special. Even a little condescending.
It feels so-so. Is there a big difference depending on the staff?

I went there without making a reservation, but a woman who looked Japanese asked me everything in English, including if I was making a reservation, so I thought she was of Japanese descent and answered in poor English, but after ordering, I was asked by a Japanese acquaintance of mine. When I arrived, the woman I thought was of Japanese descent was speaking fluently in Japanese. I suddenly felt sick.If you can speak Japanese, isn't it natural to respond in Japanese? No matter how we look at it, I think only Japanese people can see it. I think the food was delicious, but I felt like I was being made a fool of.
