Very pricy, but a fun place is you want something different like a wine bar date. Not a lot of options for various wines in HI, so this place has a decent variety for Oahu in a fun, modern and romantic setting. If you are a connisour, or looking for something specific like a wide selection of "pinot noirs", then I would stick with the mainland.
Vegetarian options: Brussel sprouts and cauliflower are both delicious

Sophia was our host and did very well at managing the flow throughout because it was a busier than our last visit. The new menu was refreshing and good the chef kept some items from previous menu. The lighting and ambience is dark enough to hide the many stains on the fabric of upholstery and carpet. It would be nice to actually see the art and furniture that goes hand in hand with the overall experience. Maybe they should consider swapping out the furniture and have flooring specialist come in to replace the floor. We notice the lighting in the pau hana area is very well lit compared to that of the dining. It's somewhat deceiving because I was able to see the many stains on the furniture fabric and carpet floor in dining area with the light from my cell phone. Not sure if we'll be back any time soon. Since the items on menu were changed, maybe consider doing the same with the furniture/fabric, flooring, etc. Overall I gave full stars because the staff and host were great as usual, however small kine cringe when realized what we were sitting on.
Here's my honest review:
✨Location✨ You would never suspect that there was a wine bar in a design store. But let me tell you how amazing it is. It's like a museum art gallery meets a wine extravaganza
✨Price✨ I think the prices were extremely fair. You spend $30 to start a card and a $2 activation fee. Personally I put $40 on mine.
✨Ambiance✨ I think the ambiance is amazing. The chairs are super laid back and relaxed there's lots of different styles of seating. There's lots of art.
✨Drinks✨ there are so many different varieties of wine. Most are about 250 to $3 per 2 oz but some are super extravagant. There was one that was $14 for 2 oz. I like that you can try a bunch of different varieties
✨Recommendation✨ Definitely have to come here at least once while you're in Hawaii. This is one of my favorite spots. The food is amazing and I love that you can split a wine card with a friend and get a diverse selection of wine sips
✨Food✨ The food was absolutely amazing. I'm so sad that the brussel sprouts are only a special because I would order them every single time I went back. Dessert was phenomenal and the pizza was great but I would really say the best part was the pixtos!
✨Customer Service✨ our server was new but you wouldn't have known. She did absolutely amazing. She came and checked on us multiple times and made sure all our food came out at the perfect timing!

Ordered one dish from each section of the menu. Very pleased with the food and mixed drinks. The wine flights were a wonderful addition. Service was somewhat slow, but ok for a languid evening
Good and service is fantastic. Sophia was excellent once again! Looking forward to the new menu in Sept but also will be said to see the pork chop and butterfish go way, both are outstanding!
We had been to Stage many times in the past but not for 3 years or so. We decided to try it again when we visited Oahu and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. I regret I don't remember our servers name on July 12, but he was excellent. We enjoyed our dinner so much, we went back two more times the following week on another trip to Oahu. On these two occasions our servers Crystal 7/23 and Brett 7/24 were also excellent. The food we ordered was delicious: Pork Chop, NY Steak, Salmon, Patatas Bravas, Beef Wellington. They also had a special appetizer of spicy ahi on rice chips. To the chef: Please offer this on your regular menu! The only thing that could be improved is the soft "couch" type of seating that is now part of their booth seatings. It is uncomfortable because it is too soft and too deep. I would avoid these and opt for a table with chairs.
Nice food. Suffers the same as most restaurants from lack of enough wait people. Food was tasty and good sized portions, but took a really long time to come out. Seating has always been weird at Stage with the forced use of store furniture. The coffee table/table didn't come up high or close enough.
Our server Ryan was delightful. Food was very good! The decor changed quite a bit from a few years ago but it was still so cool and unique. Most of the cocktails were tasty (Cosmopolitan could be improved). Definitely a great place for dinner. Appreciated the cozy seating and quiet atmosphere. Mahalo!
The best wine bar and restaurant in Honolulu. Amazing staff, extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Food was by far the best we have had in our many outings on island. Interior is like something out of a movie, beautiful and very modern. Perfect place for date nights and special occasions.
Dessert was outstanding. Service was extremely bad, no one was in the area and they made me wait 25 minutes. Also they did not want to serve a cup o water to a person that we were waiting. First time I see that in my life, I will not come back nor recommend it even if food and drinks are excellent

Food is always good but tonight it was superb! Everything was delicious, properly sauced, etc. Also the prices for this level of dining experience are just so much better than most restaurants. We ordered the truffle yaki rib eye and it was actually medium rare -- I have been having such a bummer experience at most restaurants that are overcooking their meat. This was well priced with a good portion and it was delicious (and medium rare). All in all we had an awesome dinner, thank you so much!
This is the best kept secret restaurant in Honolulu. Beautiful decoration, creative and very friendly staff serving fantastic food. My lamb chops were over the top. Their sauce was just amazing. I tasted a little pork chop and it was fantastic and juicy. The prices are very reasonable and great value. We will make this our usual hang out place. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone looking for a quiet, great dining experience.
This is one of our favorite restaurants. We normally do not go to the Tasting Thursday events, we tried it this month (Italian theme) and it was not good. The regular menu is great and so much better.
The menu is a thoughtful fusion of classic French dishes and American favorites, each prepared with a level of artistry that speaks to the chef's expertise. The beef Wellington is a standout, its rich, velvety sauce and tender beef wrapped in a flaky buttery puff pastry, making for a deeply satisfying dish. The Cesar salad was very crisp and refreshing, with a beautiful texture of rice puffs. Another highlight is the garlic bread, packed with an abundance of garlic flavor and not skimpy with the cheese. To end the night, I finished it with the lilikoi creamsicle. This dish was hit every taste bud on my tongues pallet. Very refreshing and not overpowering sweet.
