Oxtail soup is a gentle soup with the flavor of beef tail meat that has been simmered until tender and tender. It's topped with green onions and coriander, and served with ginger, soy sauce, and white rice on the side.

When I looked at the tables of customers around me, I saw that many of them were eating curry...I tried the cutlet curry. As a result, we got it right! I ordered the regular size, but it was huge and had two freshly fried cutlets!

We went as a couple, and I thought it would have been better to order the tail soup and cutlet curry in mini sizes.

You can pay by card, but you can pay by card. 3% charge will be added.

I went undercover for the first time because I heard that oxtail soup (cow tail soup?) is famous. Although it was about to close, I was able to eat delicious food.

This oxtail soup is made with lots of love.

“Tail” is the well-known tail of a cow. When you bite into the bone-in meat, the meat around the bone gives it a luxurious taste, just like corned beef.

The elegant and flavorful soup contains plenty of coriander and has a rich aroma.

Also, if you mix the chopped ginger and soy sauce that is brought to the table and soak the meat in it, the flavor will be even more delicious.

This oxtail soup is filled with a rich sense of love and care.

“Oxtail” refers, as you might know, to the tail of a cow. As you enjoy the soup, biting into the meat around the bone reveals a luxurious texture, reminiscent of corned beef, enhancing the experience with every bite.

The thick, refined broth is generously topped with cilantro, adding an aromatic depth to the flavor.

On the side, finely chopped ginger and soy sauce are provided. Dip the meat into this mixture for an extra layer of deliciousness that elevates the taste to perfection.

Food as expected: reasonably priced, good local foods. Of course, restaurant was busy on a Friday night and we had to wait a little bit on service. That was expected and acceptable for that time. However, I was surprised by credit card 3% surcharge- which was apparent AFTER credit card was charged. It would be nice if waiter provided advisory on credit card surcharge, IN ADVANCE.

Food was excellent! We had many dishes and all were prepared perfectly. The Ox tail soup was great- if you have rheumatoid arthritis chance while visiting Oahu make sure you stop there.

Asahi Grill, famous for its oxtail soup, has moved here from Keamoku.
It seems that the owner of Ward changed and the taste changed, and this store seems to have the original taste.
If you are Japanese, I think a mini version is fine unless you want to share it.
From Waikiki, take the number 13 bus past Market City, go down H1, and get off at the first bus stop, and you'll see it right away.

I entered the store as soon as it opened at 17:00, and it was filled with local customers one after another.

My husband and I shared oxtail soup and short rib fried rice, and my son ordered a cheeseburger.

The oxtail soup is without coriander, the white or brown rice in the set is white rice, and the eggs in the fried rice are scrambled? Order at.

After about 5 to 10 minutes of waiting, the soup and fried rice arrived. The oxtail soup is served in a large bowl with lots of tails. I had the cilantro removed, but the ginger scent was strong and the taste was very refreshing.

The fried rice was lightly stir-fried and had plenty of ribs in it, so it tasted more like American rice than Japanese rice.

The cheeseburger was big enough to make you feel like it was a local dish, and the atmosphere of the restaurant had a nostalgic feel to it, rather than the atmosphere of a restaurant in a tourist area, so I really enjoyed it.

However, the two scoops of rice that came with the fried rice cooled down quickly due to the cool interior of the restaurant, and the rice was a bit hard, making it crumbly compared to Japanese rice and I couldn't finish it all. I think the correct answer was to dip it in the soup and eat it.

However, the long-awaited soup and fried rice were absolutely delicious!

The oxtail soup continues to be excellent. The steamed opakapaka was delicious. The disappointment was the restaurant was out of Goya and chicken papaya soup.

We classmates are frequent diners of Asahi. We are always greeted and serviced excellently! 💕

We usually enjoy the food here; but my order of fried rice was very disappointing. It's like the kitchen forgot to put any protein or any seasoning into the dish. I usually order fried rice pretty much everywhere I go for comparison and critiquing. I'll have to pass on this one.
