Oxtail soup was the BOMB...!!! Clean taste, not fatty, flavorful and the fresh ground ginger condiment perfectly balanced the savory soup

Traditional Japanese set mealSame as beforeThe oxtail soup, cilantro, and ginger make it a delicious dish.I've moved so I'm closer to Waikiki, which is really helpful.

I had the salmon husband had the chicken katsu. Katsu was good. Service was not good. Only three tables were occupied and somehow we got overlooked the whole service.Went last night 3/26.I had the chicken katsu my husband had the spicy ahi and shrimp donburi with brown rice. I like their katsu very tasty. The spicy ahi and shrimp don was delicious. Their fish and seafood always seem fresh. My husband commented on the freshness and crisp bite to the shrimp. We both enjoyed everything on the table.Parking: Very small parking lot

You won't believe how amazing this place is! All my family and friends from Japan are absolutely in love with it. And let me tell you, you just can't go wrong with their delicious menu. My personal favorite is their famous ox tail soup, served with a generous amount of ginger and coriander. It's simply out of this world! And when I shared the Chinese chicken salad with my family, they couldn't stop raving about it. But that's not all - my son's all-time favorite is their spaghetti and garlic bread. It's so good that he just can't get enough of it! So if you're in town, you absolutely must try their oxtail soup. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Great place to eat with local food dishes that will keep us coming back to this place over and over. The servers could be a bit more friendlier but they were pleasant and the food was awesome.

Ordered the obvious oxtail soup and fried rice. It came right after I ordered! !The stability is amazing, but I regret that it's expensive due to the weak yen. . .

Last time I came here many years ago it was just okay, but was happy to come back here for lunch recently on a weekday with some coworkers and the food was really good!Prices are very reasonable compared to other places, and my dish was tasty. I got a chopped steak dish.

Oxtail soup w/riceFried rice w/2 eggsIt was my first time eating soup, but the meat was tender and refreshing, making it easy to eat.Is fried rice soy sauce based? It was delicious. The inside of the restaurant seemed to be aimed at locals, and although it was lunchtime on a weekday, it was empty.

A stable oxtail soup that you'll want to eat again.Eat the meat with ginger soy sauce, or add ginger to the soup at the end to change the taste. This is a restaurant you'll want to eat when you come to Hawaii. The garlic shrimp was also delicious!

I stopped here after walking by it earlier. It was only around 4pm on a Sunday so wasn't very busy. I was sat immediately and ordered the mahi mahi I think for about $17. First I was brought a small cup of oxtail soup, just the broth. It was steaming hot, which I like, and was really delicious. I understood from Yelp that this is one of the favorite dishes here and I can see why. Next time I'll get the full bowl of oxtail soup anyway, I was then brought out a small salad. Nothing fancy but it was fine. Next was two nice pieces of mahi-mahi and two scoops of rice. I was so happy that they didn't overcook the fish. It was nice and soft and tasted great. I really couldn't complain about anything and would like to return to try some different menu items. Highly recommend if you feel like some hawaii style Japanese food.
