On yesterday I had the opportunity to visit the Barefoot Beach Cafe. I was truly disappointed with my meal which I got to go. The fish and chips looked and tasted like the oil which they fried the fish and chips was old. The entire meal was hard and really dark looking like it was burnt. I won’t be going back.

Swordfish was incredible especially for it being my first eating it. Portions were reasonable. Awesome music and staff.

I got the loco mono. One of the best I've ever had. Its right next to the beach so you can swim right after. Good drinks too

This unassuming place is a great spot. On the beach. We ordered fish tacos, ahi burger, and a hamburger. Everything was super fresh and delicious. Definitely try the pineapple 🍍 smoothie.

Yummmmmmmm! I frequent this lovely, cozy haunt whenever my son is surfing at Queens: great atmosphere, great views and somehow despite being RIGHT ON THE BEACH, the food is amazing, made with care, love and deliciousness, tourist trap location be damned! It can be 90 degrees and I am still going to be sitting there eating bread pudding, It’s divine. Friendly staff, and delicious everything; what more could you want?

Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Usually a decent line but it moves quick. Everything I have tried here could be shared with two people, great portions! Favorite by far is the Loco Moco!

I got a tofu scramble, and was very happy with it. Nothing too inspiring, but a solid meal. Also, you can’t beat the view!

They have a specific list of vegan dishes including the typical Loco Moco and more! We were there four times and it was not disappointing at all! Everything delicious and cheap 💚

We had the burger, fried rice, whole pineapple smoothie and piña colada smoothie. Sad to report that neither Neal went down well, my burger was particularly bready and dry. Smoothies were great though!

Outdoor cafe with a creative menu. There is an entire vegan section and it has interesting dishes I haven't seen anywhere else in the US. I got a pineapple smoothie and it was a huge pineapple hollowed out and filled with a tasty drink. The smoothie wasn't overly sweet or tart even though it definitely has sugar in it. It was a great consistency and easy to drink. The vegan loco moco burger took a while to cook but it was a massive veggie burger on top of a huge plate of rice. There was vegan gravy and topped with tofu. None of the flavors were overwhelming, but it all worked together and I had to get a to-go box. I recommend this place for Vegan food while in the park or the beach. Tables are hard to find so it's really good for a picnic.

I just left this place and none of the items labeled as vegan are actually vegan- they’re vegetarian. I asked the dude at the counter and he didn’t know the difference between the two. When I asked him if he could please verify that the buns they use are vegan, he rolled his eyes and seemed super annoyed only to come back and tell me that they’re not vegan after all. Don’t bother coming here!

It is an incredible place to grab reasonably priced food, listen to live music, and relax to an amazing Oahu sunset.
