This place use to be the best banh mi in Honolulu, but they have since really decreased their quality and quantity. I had been coming for 4+ years and the sandwiches were always big and packed with protein and veggies. For the past 6 months, all of a sudden, they increased the price but REDUCED the quantity but making the bread smaller, reducing the amount of stuffing of tofu/meat/veggies altogether. I used to get full by eating one, now I'm still hungry. One time, my bread was even cut in 3/4 size of the original. I understand they want to save money but just raise the price. I don't mind if you raise your price by $1-2 dollars but at least keep the same quantity and portions as before! Please return the quality and portions back to before! or we'll have to look for new banh mi places. If quality returns to before, I'll gladly keep buying for years. Thank you!

The best of the best right here! We love their BBQ pork, BBQ beef & chicken sandwiches & the rolls!! Weāve been coming here for years as we lived close by but now we take a detour just to get a sandwich from them. They also have the most delicious chili sauce. LOVE IT! The bread is always fresh and crispy, the service is lovely, & we definitely miss living next to them and eating here 3x a week.

When I mentioned how cheap the refills were, the owner was quick to shut down the idea of raising the price. She said āwe love the customer so we donāt increase the priceā if thatās not a business model everyone should strive to have, then I donāt know what is.
Avoid this place if youāre a traveler. While No Name Sandwich might be popular for its affordability, the experience is far from welcoming. They primarily operate through phone orders, and thereās no one at the counter to assist walk-in customers. When I finally managed to place an order, the employee was condescending and downright rude. A disappointing experienceāIād recommend taking your appetite elsewhere.

Found this little place. Walked in with my little girl. Lovely family working hard to make the best bahn mi. So delicious. Crispy outside soft inside French bread just the way itās supposed to be. Meat and veggies so fresh. Wonderful taste. Price is amazing. Great job. Beautiful family. Thank you.

My go to move here is to put an order in and then spend the 15-25 minutes while they make the sandwiches at The Curb over a coffee. I take it to go. Most people do.
The proprietors are lovely people and they are busting their asses. Support local.
