Busy at time so you may wait, but the food is worth it. No coffee last time I went, but they got sodas. Call ahead of possible. Also I dig the music.

Third time we’ve eaten here the sandwiches are so delicious, we’ve tried many varieties and all of them have been fantastic. The staff is also helpful and friendly. Quick service, we love to get sandwiches to eat while hiking.

Best BBQ pork banh mi sandwich!! They make everything fresh to order. Bread is crispy and airy, meat is tender/flavorful/not overtly sweet with pickled onions. We got ours with extra meat! AND YOU MUST EAT IT WITH THEIR HOMEMADE HOT SAUCE! It is potent and will make you sweat and want for more!! Recommend to call to order if you don’t want to wait there. I’ve always ordered at the counter and then go next door and get a coffee while waiting the 10-15 mins. You can also request them to cut the sandwich in half and ask for utensils (chopsticks) if needed (since all the meeeeaat would fall out as you eat.)

Hours are completely wrong. Tried to order dinner on a Sunday and they were closed without any notice or note on their voicemail. I will update this review when I can actually eat here lmfao.

This ghetto looking place is hidden in plain sight, next to Ace Hardware on Waialae Ave.
It's an underrated restaurant with an interesting name, No Name Sandwich... lol. It's crazy good for its simple focus on quality banh mi sandwiches. The cilantro, sweet onions, house sauce, and BBQ pork or beef make these sandwiches so good. I've even seen a tourist literally buy and eat a sandwich in the restaurant, then minutes later go up to order another one. This time, I purchased and tried the meatball sandwich. It was good and savory, and it paired well with the sweet onions and the toasted French bread. For $9.99, it was worth it.
Heads up, the restaurant is pretty popular, with many people calling in their orders instead of ordering in person. I highly recommend calling ahead to order and pick up when it's ready.
The restaurant's exterior and interior don't look like much, but it doesn't matter when you have delicious sandwiches. I highly recommend you try this place once... you'll come back again and again.

Can’t believe I found a $10 sandwich in 2025. Absolutely delicious warm baguette, with bbq pork and tons of fresh veggies. The owners were so friendly as well. Delicious homemade hot sauce.

Today, I had my favorite Vietnamese sandwich again after about a year and a half.
But something felt different. Maybe the recipe has changed? What used to be the best Vietnamese sandwich shop for me now just feels like an ordinary sandwich place.
I had enjoyed it so many times in the past and even recommended it to people around me. I wonder if the person who made it changed, or if it was just an off day. I really can’t tell what happened...

Came in close to closing time. Ordered the Meatball sandwich and bbq pork sandwich. Both were very good! Great food at a great price. Owners were very kind :)

This place use to be the best banh mi in Honolulu, but they have since really decreased their quality and quantity. I had been coming for 4+ years and the sandwiches were always big and packed with protein and veggies. For the past 6 months, all of a sudden, they increased the price but REDUCED the quantity but making the bread smaller, reducing the amount of stuffing of tofu/meat/veggies altogether. I used to get full by eating one, now I'm still hungry. One time, my bread was even cut in 3/4 size of the original. I understand they want to save money but just raise the price. I don't mind if you raise your price by $1-2 dollars but at least keep the same quantity and portions as before! Please return the quality and portions back to before! or we'll have to look for new banh mi places. If quality returns to before, I'll gladly keep buying for years. Thank you!

Delicious every time. New items on menu after recent upgrades were amazing!
