This place use to be the best banh mi in Honolulu, but they have since really decreased their quality and quantity. I had been coming for 4+ years and the sandwiches were always big and packed with protein and veggies. For the past 6 months, all of a sudden, they increased the price but REDUCED the quantity but making the bread smaller, reducing the amount of stuffing of tofu/meat/veggies altogether. I used to get full by eating one, now I'm still hungry. One time, my bread...
The freshest and best banh mi sandwiches and spring rolls we have ever had. Crusty rolls packed with flavorful fillings and hot and crispy spring rolls wrapped in romaine lettuce, noodles and fresh mint make this little hometown restaurant a delight!
The best of the best right here! We love their BBQ pork, BBQ beef & chicken sandwiches & the rolls!! We’ve been coming here for years as we lived close by but now we take a detour just to get a sandwich from them. They also have the most delicious chili sauce. LOVE IT! The bread is always fresh and crispy, the service is lovely, & we definitely miss living next to them and eating here 3x a week.
