Big Island Candies

I gave it as a gift they said the chocolate was very good. There is not much to pick from Candy Wise. mostly had cookies

The quality of the confections has steadily declined over the years while the prices are high. The shortbread used to be so buttery but as the years went by I suspect they reduced the quality and quantity of the ingredients. Used to be a must buy for gifts but stopped buying altogether. A real shame.

This is my favorite place to get chocolate covered macadamia cookies. The chocolates are also worth trying. There are only two storefront locations. One on Oahu and the main location on the Big Island.

I received a box as a gift and immediately had to find out where it came from. These are the best Shortbread Cookies that I have tasted in Hawaii and being the foodie that I am, I've tasted many.

Located on the 1st floor of Ala Moana Shopping Center. I went there to buy souvenirs. We are handing out cookie samples when you enter the store. You can't sample it freely. It's delicious, but I think it's expensive in Japanese yen. It was too expensive to give away as a souvenir, and even when I bought it in a box, there were too few pieces, so I felt like it wasn't enough. In the end, I gave up on purchasing it. I thought these cookies would be more like a reward for myself than a souvenir.
