This is honestly one of our favorite restaurants in the entire island. We drive across island just to come here. The food is absolutely amazing. We always get the shrimp summer rolls, chicken, lemongrass vermicelli, beef rib/brisket/oxtail, soups, and the spring rolls. 11 lemonade is delicious as well. The service is absolutely amazing and you can tell the owner who cares very much about his craft. It is also a amazing atmosphere and they have beautiful photography inside. Very clean and easy street parking right outside + a lot super close by. 10/10

Came here for a weekday lunch. Based on the reviews I had high expectations. Also there are many Vietnamese food choices in “Keep it Kaimuki” so I assume you need to be good to stay in business. I also like to support local small business so hats off to the couple who greeted us and hurried to the back where I assume they were busy in the kitchen. We decided to sample the rice platter (house combo), lemongrass chicken bun (vermicelli noodle bowl) and the bun Bo hue soup which is not the most common offering when going out for pho. Likes: variety of food offered on the rice combo platter, good beef flavor in the soup, tender beef in pho. Could be better: marinade for the barbecue pork/chicken (salty) spring rolls and/or sauce could have more seasoning or be served with more veggies/pickles, fresh veggies for pho we’re small in quantity and old (picked off browning parts of bean sprouts), accuracy in description of menu items and what gets served (I was looking forward to the wide flat rice noodle).

By far the best Vietnamese food in Honolulu, the best atmosphere and service! Literally a “Mom and Pop” restaurant, owned and operated by the gentle couple Mihn and his wife, they make their own broth from scratch. The tastiest Phō and the best Spring Roll Bun anywhere! Their prices are very reasonable!! I guarantee you won’t regret it. eric

This is the best pho ever!! Get the oxtail pho, you won’t regret it. Their broth is so flavorful and rich without being too fatty. Also really great Viet iced coffee. We’re from California and every time we visit, we need to pay this place a visit! Nice area in Kaimuki as well, lots of coffee shops and little shops around.

Stopped in for lunch and had the beef lemongrass soup and lavender lemonade. The soup had just the right amount of heat and had good flavor. The lemonade was perfect not super sweet and the lavender added a nice touch. My order came out fairly quickly and the people working were friendly.
