This week was an extra rotten week, so to cheer everyone up, Brug was delivered to us by my mom. I love Brug. The Matcha Turtles?, Apple ? Cinnamon Custard Danish,Cream Cheese Bomb, Brug curry, Kuma Chocolate Custard and creamy tomato soup are among my favorites when they first opened. Today we had a variety of goodies, each person having their own personal favorites. I don’t know the official name of the baked goods, but i will put a brief description of each one. Very tasty and delicious baked goods offered with pleasant staff. Family Favorite Spot for us!07/05/2023My mom bought me a Kaeru (frog) Choco Matcha Melon Pan. It was so adorable!! ? Filled with chocolate! If u heat it around 30 seconds it gets nice and melty. I really missed the Kame (turtle) Matcha Melon Pan so i was so happy to get one of these!09/13/2023My mom grabbed me a hot dog, curry pan, Ichigo Neko (Strawberry Cat) and a New Limited item I never tried before. She can’t remember the entire name but said it was a pineapple cream. It was so delicious!!! A adorable pineapple shaped pan with chunks of pineapple, cream and shredded coconut!! Yum! Grab one while u still can!01/22/2024Pictures updated!

Hi Jambo

Great pastries, not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. I like this place in the morning before the Lanai gets super busy. Just sit in there with the morning mall-folk, chew some Brug and get your day off to a joyous

Clean and inviting. All the pastries lure you into a soft and fresh taste of heaven. We have been in Hawaii for six days and there has not been one bad pastry in all of our selections. This is a must to visit right outside of Macy’s in the food court.

Get the Kona Coffee pudding. A tasty custard and coffee kick. Also got the holiday Brug Tree, like a wonderful cream horn.

As usual, Brug knocks it out of the park. Best bakery in the mall hands down. Delicious products and quick service despite the long lines.

I've tried pretty much ALL of Brug's pastries at this point. The cheap prices, fresh bread, and living nearby have led me to come here countless times over the past few years. If you're looking for something filling, the sausage dogs, hot dogs, and spam "musubi" bread are the most meaty. They have pizza breads, but they're light on the sauce and toppings, so it's mostly bread. If you're craving actual pizza, the pizza bread here won't be satisfying. When I'm craving something sweet, I enjoy the mochi donuts the most. They're light, chewy, and sweet without being TOO sweet. They come in different flavors like chocolate, matcha, strawberry, and black sesame. These donuts are basically a chain of small balls, which makes them easy to break apart and share. Most items are sold out by the late afternoon, and they stop baking fresh bread. Come before lunch if you want the widest selection of pastries to choose from!

No matter what BRUG you go to on the island, you can expect good, quality breads - sweet or savory at great prices. Specifically talking about this one in the food court, I love coming here when I want a snack but nothing too filling. Most BRUGs offer the same thing, of course some items go and come back with the season or depending on the popularity. What is unique about this BRUG is that if you can't find anything you wanted or like here, you can take a ten minute walk to the center of the mall to their second location to look there. It's self-service like all other BRUGS, sometimes I'll walk in and check if I'm feeling like anything that day. If I don't find anything I want at least that means I get my steps in. Some of my favorites are the chocolate mochi donut, garlic France, cheese mochi, and especially their spinach pan. But remember, not everything here is offered everyday, but if you don't find your usual it's so easy to step out of your comfort zone here to try something new! And of course, you're only spending less that $5 per pastry. Also, if you're looking for someplace for fresh, soft, shokupan then this is your spot.

There are many reviews that compare it to Japanese bakeries, but since this is Hawaii, the bakeries are expensive and not very tasty. I think the prices here are still cheap and the food is delicious.I come every time.

Nestled within the bustling Lanai food court at the Ala Moana Center, this bakery has firmly established itself as a beloved destination for both locals and tourists alike. It's no surprise that their bread offerings disappear in the blink of an eye as soon as they're set out, a testament to their exceptional quality and popularity.During my visit, I had the pleasure of savoring their delectable sausage rolls, and I must say they exceeded my expectations. The perfect blend of flaky pastry and savory sausage filling made for a delightful snack. However, the star of the show was undoubtedly their Kona coffee pudding – a culinary masterpiece. Its rich, coffee-infused flavor left a lasting impression, and it's a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth.Beyond the sumptuous treats, this bakery is strategically positioned for travelers. Grabbing some of their freshly baked and delicious bread before heading to the airport is a brilliant idea. It ensures a tasty in-flight meal that you can savor even after your departure. In essence, this bakery is a hidden gem in the heart of Ala Moana, offering a taste of paradise that's not to be missed.

Gave so much expectations but their products sold so fast and there were less left in the early afternoon. Hopefully, they could fill their shelves with fresh baked bread all day.

I saw a good selection of bread, but a lot was already sold out by the time I visited at 3pm ish. They've a good selection of Japanese style bread and some vegan friendly options. I got some to eat back at the hotel, but everything looks really good so far.
