A hidden but super cool spot. Came to try a karaoke room, but ended up just enjoying good Korean food. Will Definitely come back!

Such a fun hole in the wall. Food was INCREDIBLE, especially from such an inconspicuous location. Always, always order the duck butt chicken. It is so juicy and flavorful, it falls right off the bone and is something I could eat 12 of. The prime rib was delicious, the kimchi fried rice was super flavorful without being TOO spicy, and the mandu was crispy and delicious. I will absolutely be returning over and over again!

Let's start with the one good thing. The food. Thankfully, Duck Butt's food is still amazing. Literally the only thing worth going here for. 5 stars. Ambiance is still the same. It's a dive bar with karaoke. Their karaoke system has changed & definitely not for the better. We spent a few minutes trying to figure out how to select songs with no success. My boyfriend had to go out & ask one of the waitresses what to do. To which she replied as if we should've known, "There's a QR code outside..." Would've been nice if that was mentioned when we were being showed to the room. I scan the code & am unable to download the SongBook Master because, get this, the app Duck Butt uses isn't available because my android is too new. It is new (sort of). It's an S23 Ultra. But I have recently been to other karaoke establishments that also require you to use a QR code to access their karaoke system & my newer version of Android worked just fine. Anyway. The Service. If I could give negative stars, I would. I walk in & let them know we have a reservation. One of the girls asks my boyfriend & I if we'd like to sit at the bar while we wait for the rest of our party to come because the room is really cold. So we did. The bartender didn't seem to like that though because this girl had quite the attitude. If you don't want people sitting at the bar, why are you even working here? Mind you, Duck Butt was dead. 1 table seated & 1 other dude at the bar. And now my bf & I. That's it. Fast forward to our time in the karaoke room. We were in the room for about 5 hours & were constantly ordering food & drinks. To give you an idea of how much we were ordering, our bill was well over $400. 80% of the time, we had to go out & order our drinks. I counted 4 times that a waitress came in to actually check on us. Otherwise all they did was drop off the drinks that we had to go out to the bar & order. The last drink my boyfriend ordered, he had to go out & ask for 3 times because they were too busy tending to an emty bar. Idk if Duck Butt is going to close down soon so they don't give 2 shits, or if they just have the world's worst bartender/waitresses, but if it's the latter & they're not shutting down, they need to find people that actually care about working there. Don't accept people's reservations if you don't want them to come to your establishment. On top of the terrible service, they charged us 20% tip on the taxed total of our bill, not the subtotal. Let's be clear. It wasn't a suggested tip. They had already added it onto our bill. You're not supposed to charge people tip on taxes. I would honestly never come back here unless friends of mine insist they want to go to Duck Butt. Even then, I would try to convince them to go elsewhere. The service is that terrible.

If I could rate this place a 0 I would, some friends and I went out to drink here and the bartender was super rude and was starting a fight with my friend for no reason. And after we left I heard Michelle the bartender was serving alcohol to minors 0/10

Me and a few friends went for the first time in about 5 years, food still great, great soju options, overall everything tasted great! The only thing we didn't like was the music, not sure who likes to visit a Korean Soju bar and listen to country and rap music, nothing against that type of music but it wasn't the vibe we expected. Hope that it eventually goes back to K-pop.

Fantastic service and food. We had a large group and moved tables as more people joined us. We never started tabs or declared that we would have separate checks, but they kept our entire order organized from the start. We asked for our tab, and they immediately produced separate checks without us even asking. As someone who has spent years working in restaurants, this is a lost art that only requires a little bit of organization.I can't wait to come back for the amazing food and attention to detail.

I love the food here! The Korean fried chicken is sooo good. I tried the garlic soy chicken and the flavor and texture was so yummy. The chicken was crunchy and moist all at the same time! Next time I am going to try the gochujang fried chicken. My mom makes this for me at home, so sometimes I am hesitant to try it at restaurants. But their garlic soy fried chicken was just so yummy so I am definitely going to try the gochujang next time! The Korean tacos were also out of this world. They were huge and super flavorful with the pork and kimchi with salad. How innovative to make Korean tacos! I had never had anything like this before back home on the mainland. I will order the Korean tacos again, for sure. This place also has karaoke rooms which is super cool. The service is also super cool and friendly. They can all help you pick something delicious on the menu to try if you have never been here before. I would definitely bring family and friends here for good times and good food.

I haven't been here in over 8 years! I brought my bf to try it out for the 1st time. We looked up menu on Google and their pupu menu was $5 per item. It said their happy hour was till 8pm. When we got here there was no $5 pupu happy hour, so that was disappointing. I guess the menu on google was outdated. BUT the food was yummy!!! We had the kimchee jun, mochiko chicken, shrimp tempura, sweet potato tempura, & soy garlic chicken wings. It was not very packed, food cane out fast and service was good!

Do not recommend for karaoke. Reserved a large room on a Friday night. Our server could not care less, when asked how to work the system she merely shrugged her shoulders. She also was no help when the mics ran out of battery which happened midway through our session. Each song is $2 and room gets hot when full. Drinks were good and reasonably priced so I'll add a star for that. My friends enjoyed the food they got. Honestly just think this one particular server did not like that we were a big group and she made it very obvious to us. Has potential but I don't think I'll be coming back.

I went on Thursday night and it was dead. I used my credit card and this was the only place I used it all week. Later that night / early the next morning I had a bunch of random scam charges on my credit card. Just wanted to post this here to see if anyone experienced the same thing...

We had a larger group with multiple people wanting to pay. To make things easier we kept it on one and I gave the server my card. She came back and told me my card declined 3 times. Very odd as I had more than enough money. So my bf handed her his card and I immediately checked my bank account. It had charged $201.47 so I informed my server and she told me I was wrong as if I didn't have the charge pulled up on my account. She then said oh our system rebooted while I was charging but we don't have your tab paid. They then couldn't provide any receipt or statement that my account was not charged. They finally printed me an itemized receipt of what we were charged which all of a sudden was a different amount including a 20 % gratuity. Which is generous given their sub par service. Especially when most establishments only charge a 18% gratuity for larger parties. They said the charge wouldn't go through but of course it did today and I'm back on the mainland. I'm going to try to call and reverse it. But this is so bad. Wondering if they do this on purpose in hopes that people that leave won't fight it. Thank god my bf and I both kept our receipts. Cafe suck butt

The wings have been my go-to food for over the last couple of years! If you want 1 order of wings, do yourself a favor and order 3 of them. It’s the type of food that will have you looking at the chicken bones wondering how it tastes sooo good. The staff is quick and smooth as always!!!
