I'm always down for Korean food and supporting a small business. This food truck was being run by 2 cute little Korean ladies. I'm not one for frequenting food trucks, but we were all hungry and thirsty, so we decided to give Chef's Cup Bop a try. We ordered a Kalbi and Garlic Shrimp plate to share amongst myself and 2 little ones. It wasn't enough food, so we ordered a plate of just Garlic Shrimp. Kalbi was a teeny tiny portion, mostly fat. Shrimp was delicious. Nice, hot and buttery with a nice amount of garlic. Plates were served with a small side of kimchee, piece of sliced fresh pineapple and cabbage salad with French dressing. I tried subbing the rice on our plates to Kimchee fried rice. The woman said it would be an up charge of $7.00. Mmm.. No thanks. We stuck with the regular white rice. Next time we'll try their Kimchee fried rice plate that looked really good.

Mmm! This place was delicious. My mom and I were craving some seafood after a couple hours of shopping. Located in the parking lot between Coach and Perfumania at Waikele Premium Outlets, this little Korean food truck had some nice tasting spicy squid and garlic shrimp. 1 less star because it was a little too oily but nonetheless, the sauce was really good. Both the shrimp and squid were cooked well and soft. The macaroni salad and kimchi weren't bad either. IG: rsm_foodandtravels

Great little food truck. The lady/owner is very nice and her portions are very generous. The sausage stew (Budae Jiggae) is very authentic. I've traveled to Korea many times and this stew is famous in Songtan close to the Osan Air Force Base. The lady does a great job with this stew as it taste like the one in Songtan Korea. Too bad they don't serve Soju with this stew. The Spicy Squid is very good as well.

Stopped by the food truck and the ladies made me the Stir-Fry Steak. Very delicious with the right amount of spiciness (you can order it non spicy or very spicy if you want). This hit the spot after a long day at work. So if you don't want to cook or clean dishes head on over and the will do the heavy lifting for you in a hurry.

I ordered the combo plate and it was delicious they were two choices of Korean vegetables for Rice was perfect. the spicy pork was nicely done the meat Jun was tasty. the only complaint I would have is that was about five strips of the meat Jun maybe six and I did have to pay an extra $2 to make it a combo plate. The lady was nice the parking is on the side of the building along Nimitz Highway and the prices were a little cheaper than outside.

This is the yellow food truck located in the Waikele parking lot on the upper side next to Coach. Their menu features a bunch of plate lunches that are Hawai'i favorites but majority of their menu is Korean items. I was craving shrimp and opted for the garlic shrimp plate. The typical moody Korean lady that runs this place took my order, and without word - no 'thank you', no 'just one moment' - proceeded to make my order. Of course I knew this plate would not live up to those north shore shrimp plates and yup I was right. Note to tourists reading: don't settle for this shrimp! The trip to the north shore shrimp plates is worth it, not just for the shrimp, but for the scenic drive and possible beach session before and/or after! Anyways, I wasn't in the mood to make that trip, so this had to do. Sigh...I won't be back. Nothing else looked too appealing and the things that did were probably less than mediocre like my shrimp. PS - the check in offer here on yelp for 10% off your order is actually just a free drink, which I didn't get, so the offer really wasn't honored...

This is my new favorite spot for a fast Korean plate. It's located in Waikele premium outlets on the side of Coach. There usually isn't a line so the wait time is good. They accept cash/card and most or all of there plates are $10.00. I love the spicy squid plate! The portion is a little big for me which is good cause I always have left overs for later.

Wow! Walked into this great little place this morning while waiting for my husbands truck to get some work on in Kalihi. It is located by the corner of Kalihi street and Nimitz, if you're coming from upper Kalihi it will be on the right side. There is parking! They are open until 2 PM and I believe they open at 7 AM. This place has good Korean food and the prices are low. They have mini plates and regular size plates. All come with sides. I believe the mini plate comes with 3 vegetable sides and the reg comes with 4. I got the garlic shrimp! It was really good! It had a lot of flavor and slices of fresh garlic. I love that the shrimp were cut like butterfly (split down the middle of the back) because the guts and black lining was cleaned out. They gave a lot of rice on the bottom. I couldn't finish the whole plate or Ben have of the sides. My husband got the mini meat jun plate and he enjoyed it as well!

First of all I am Korean ... so I'm going to be more critical than usual. Customer Service: The lady was ok, not great and not terrible with customer service. But she's a Korean what do you expect lol. Spicy Pork Plate: The rice for spicy pork lunch plate was over cooked and almost mushy. The pork however, was delicious! It was nice and tender with just the right amount of Korean spicy heat. The kim chee felt like store bought and not homemade, but it still did the trick. On a positive note, I enjoyed the salad dressing for the sliced cabbage side dish. Mandooo plate: Never again will I ever pay $9.50 for mandoo. This bugga was frozen kine mandoo. I make homemade mandoo, ate my auntie's fat mandoos in Seoul, and I occassionally buy frozen for home use. I am confident about what is good and bad mandoo tastes like and this mandoo was pitiful. I was not very happy when I opened my to-go container. The texture was god-awful, plus it tasted like cardboard and the freezer taste (like old ice). DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS! Ok, I got the bad stuff out of the way! I enjoyed the cucumber/cabbage salad with their spicy salad sauce. I would have paid money for a heep of the salad instead of the mandoo. The sauce was sweet, spicy and a tad creamy. Final thoughts: If you want to eat some average/mediocre Korean food in Waikele this is your spot. The whole experience was just ok. Thank you () for reading.

Good Price. Good Portions. Good Service. Bad Parking. Great food. Stopped by this hole in the wall while waiting for my car at Lex Brodies across the street. There was about 6 tables inside, but it's a tight fit. Seems family run in a good way. Not too crowded for lunch, but it will get there. This place is really good. Everything was fresh. Definitely a place to return to.

Food was good. I ordered the glabi to go but instead when I got home I received the kimchi fried rice. The glabi was more expensive so basically I got ripped off . Be sure to check your orders before u drive off. The things I ordered was good, I'll try it again soon but since I didn't get what I paid for I am giving this a place a 2 stars.

A decent little korean food truck. Had the spicy pork and kimchi fried rice. Nothing above and beyond but met expectations. If you are at the outlet, it's good to check the place out.

It was so nice to find this place in Waikele! I don't usually shop around here anymore but my friend and I came randomly and were hungry. We found the menu for the other Korean food truck nearby in the main shopping area near Kate Spade, but decided to go to Chef's Cupbop since the line was shorter when we got to the location. When we saw the menu there, we were sold. My friend and I originally met in Korea, so we were excited to find a place out here at the outlet center that had Korean food. The deokbokki was good and so was the Kimchi fried rice. What sold me was the Kimbap, which was pretty simple but so good. It reminded me of the ones I'd have at some mom and pop shops in Korea. While my friend and I were eating, it started to rain. We were seated at the tables next to Chef's Cupbop. When the ladies saw us still enjoying our meal in the rain, she offered us ponchos (so sweet!) so we wouldn't get soaked. I'd come back here if I'm in the area, for sure.

Was waiting for an oil change at Lex Brodies across the street and asked for places to eat with in walking distance. They offered this place which is right across the street. Easy walk, not sure where the parking was at for it. Walking in it was quiet and very clean. A cute older woman helped me and got my food ready quickly! I ordered the spicy pork and was surprised it came with drink, salad and host of sides. Pork was tasty and the side were good. Portion size was great and all of this for $10. I thought that was a great deal! When in the area, I will check this out again for sure!
