For our anniversary, we wanted something special that we hadn't done before so we went to Cafe Miro (in Kaimuki) all the way over the mountain from our home in Kailua. It was worth the trip. We had the "plaisir" menu ... two appetizers, an entree and dessert. We were surprised with a complimentary vichysoisse (I guess an amuse bouche, but it was an ample serving). Never have been disappointed with Chef Kobayashi's dinners. The seafood salad and lamb chops are so tasty. Also the dessert platters with sorbet, cheese cake top off a great meal. Must try restaurant.
