Please disregard most of the bad reviews here!
This Dairy Queen is very sweet, treat wise and service wise.
I come to this Dairy Queen quite often during my station here on Hawai’i, and they haven’t steered me wrong.
As long as you treat them like people and not servants, there should be no problem.
There is an older lady here and a younger girl with blonde hair and glasses that always get my order perfect.
I don’t usually write reviews but just because this location is at the NEX, it does not serve anyone entitlement to be unkind to staff. Retired or Active duty.
I always order blizzards from this location. They always make them perfect - thick, proper measuring, and hand it to me upside down. Seating is sufficient, unless you go at peak lunch hours. Might be a problem. Staff are friendly and attentive.
Time and time again this place disappoints us. Always out of product. And you can count on the staff to be rude everytime. Do better DQ.
Closed early and the staff gave sass when I asked, saying they're in college and have to close early. Hardly mind that they closed but don't need the sass
You have about ten people in line and you close at 18:45 that doesn’t even make sense. To add to that the employees are making snotty faces. You can do better Dairy Queen.
Filipino lady taking orders from customers named, Emily A. needs to get fired, ASAP. She stands there at the register to ruin everybody's day.
Great location in the NEX food court but the service, preparation speed, and sense of urgency are all lacking.
Three staff members working yet all of them unable to get orders out in a timely manner.
Prices match inflation. Menu holds lots of tempting items.

It isn't hard to say hi what can I get for you instead of just standing there and acting like I don't exist
All I wanted were a few napkins, because the 604 food venue beside the Dairy Queen was out of them (and didn't appear to be hard pressed to fix that shortage or offer paper towels off their back wall to paying customers like me). However, all I received from the Dairy Queen attendant was a less than endearing response that they only offer such things (i.e., even just a few napkins) to paying customers. We have never purchased anything from them and now will be sure to avoid this Dairy Queen business.

I don’t know who the manager (vampire) here is. At night, there are more than ten people lining up, and they let a senior be the cashier and make drinks.

Terrible service by the older woman working there. Interactions from the same person. I was yelled at for scanning in my app barcode after showing her because apparently I was too fast. I don't work there, I don't know how it works. Second time weeks later, I opted to use the 5 digit code vice the barcode. She promptly said to scan my barcode, and didn't make an effort to try to input the code into the cash register. Only after about she 10 seconds of interaction she starts looking over me to the next customer. Just go to McDonald's. You're not getting Hagen Daz or anything, so the soft-serve is good enough.
