- Azur Building 1st floor- The interior of the store is neat and clean, and the characters are cute.I tried corn, shrimp, bulgogi, chicken, and eel, and they were all delicious! If you want, you can grill the top with a torch. The fish doesn't look that fresh, but I think it would be good to eat easily on a drive!suggestion!

I came across this restaurant and decided to give it a try. I ordered the Salmon Debu Roll and it was so good!! The Salmon was fresh and the portion was decent. The veggies were so crunchy. The roll was pretty big too. My daughter and I shared 1 roll and we were stuffed. We liked it so much we went back a second time before leaving the Island. Both times I was assisted by Trevor. He was so nice and took the time to answer my million questions as he was preparing the roll. I will certainly be going back when I return to the Island. Can you please open a store here in Los Angeles so I can enjoy your delicious food year round?

overall, 4.5 stars. needed a quick dinner and this hit the spot! it's self serve so you can pick whatever flavors you want, and then when you pay they offer to torch the cooked ones, like the bulgogi and unagi. super fast service, and they have good combos for rolls and drinks to add on too. the pricing is pretty fair for the size of these, but the discount for ordering a bigger box size isn't significant. either way, 4-5 pieces is only $15 per person! there's a lot of choices so I'd come back to try new ones! ps it's right next to yifang perfect spot to get dinner and a drink

Only one disadvantage they have - no bathroom in the cafeteria, but they have it in the building and they provide wet wipes and gloves to eat properly. Liked taste, all raw products feel fresh. We went there for breakfast (8 rolls for 2 persons) and paid around $22 - not bad price as we were full, with this amount you can try enough types of rolls as well. I like that the choice of rolls is not too big. Guys on the counter are nice and helpful.

Debu is a super cute inari place in the Azure building. I was influenced to try it after seeing videos on Instagram. My sister and I shared a 10-pack and were both full after eating 5 each. I like the self-service bar where you can choose a variety of inari. My favorites were the bulgogi, ahi, and spicy chicken!

I went here with my family during our trip on the island- so yummy!! I love how it's self served where you can pick whichever you like. When we went, it wasn't close to closing but a lot of flavors were sold out. So if you're hoping to try a particular kind make sure to go early enough in the day! Staff is kind, they'll help you out if you ask what they'd recommend. Indoor seating was lacking but there's some picnic tables outside! Their gimbap was really good and thick too!! But I think I enjoyed the raw Ika/squid Debu the most

A specialty shop specifically for cone sushi?! That's my kinda sushi!! I grew up not liking raw fish and loving cone sushi instead. To now see a shop that just sells elevated cone sushi is so awesome! I knew I had to try it! This shop is conveniently located across the street from Ala Moana on Keeaumoku. We parked at Ala Moana and walked over. There's also parking in the building. Here's how it works and what we got! First off, you choose the amount of pieces you want. We opted to just get 4 since this was a little appetizer before dinner. It's about $10 for 4 pieces. You then grab a container and tongs and grab what you want. You go the register and the will torch the cooked items. I must say these are decent sized pieces. Definitely 2 biters! lol! Here's what we chose: 1 Beef Bulgogi: They were super flavorful, the beef was tender and I liked the addition of the onions on top. 2 Unagi: I love unagi so this was perfect for me. The unagi was generously tossed in unagi sauce and you could taste it! Love that they cut it up into small chunks so it would be easy to eat. 1 Spicy Ahi: for those who do love raw fish, there are raw options as well! My hubby loves spicy ahi and has to get it everywhere he goes. He loved the sweet and spicy combo! They have sooo many more options and there's something for everyone! If cone sushi isn't your thing, they also have massive rolls that looked really good! My only gripe about this place is the sushi is not made to order and our "hot" items such as the bulgogi and unagi were cold. Other than that, this is a cute shop & a great place to get a quick snack or lunch.

Not the most fresh fish, but very tasty and worth for its price.

Super fair price for the quality of the food! I went with a group of 5 people and we all raved about how delicious the inaris are. If you're staying in the Waikiki area this spot is worth the visit.

Love stopping into Debu for a quick bite! Everyone’s so nice and happy to explain the different flavours. The torched ones are my fave!

clean and spacious interior. the thing i don't like is that the food isn't covered--it's out in the open so who knows what germs can land on the food. kinda pricey but food was filling.

Finally tried this place out Interesting idea Fun concept Friendly service Not the best tasting imho though Self serve. Grab a tray. Decide how many "debu" you want. Use tongs to grab them. Pay. They are large. Have different toppings you dont normally see on inari. Refreshing. But def just not my thing. Ive had much better inari sushi elsewhere.

I'm upgrading to three stars based on a second visit, midday this time instead of near closing. The various items were fresher this time, tasted better, and weren't over salty for me. The rice had a nice depth to it. My favorite was actually the simple avocado topping, but eel was good too, and zesty salmon. It was still a little messy, and there's an issue with ambience. Not their fault but the sun streams in on a warm day and makes all but a few of the indoor tables unbearably hot and bright. More tables outdoors but also in the sun, and they're shaped a little funny with the seats very far from the tabletops. Benches around the corner were more comfortable. Anyway, it's pretty good for a quick bite, and I'll likely go again. If I get hooked, it'll be four stars someday for me.
