Great food, good service, a relaxing atmosphere, and parking makes it an easy choice to meet up with friends and family.

Great location, view and service from Remy. The food and drinks were not good however. Overcooked frozen fish tacos and weird not tasty Mai tais. There are better places in Waikiki.

We were seats at the table. We waited for a server . We call the front desk for help. The person that answered the telephone after the record state leave a message. The person on the phone said they did not have us at a table. Yes we gave her our name. After a few more seconds, felt like eternity, even though it was not. She found us in the system a server stopped at our table asking have you been helped. We first ask the server's name. She said her name was Savanah. She, Savanah indicated she did not know that she was our server. We waited 13 minutes before Savanah showed up. Savanah took our orders and then came the the table setup(silverware, napkins , and table light). That take an additional 5 minutes. The food was served. We eat the food. We did return the fries because of the salt level was just to much. It was the end of the night and there was one a the front desk. We both went to restroom and we walk back to front desk. Waiting for about 2 minutes a person arrived. The was a group staff whooping it up left of the bar area in another room. We asked for business card and the person raffle through the drawer and could not find one. She gave us a survey card. Please know we have our 45th anniversary dinner in the restaurant on October 25, 2025. This experience was 180°.

We didn't get serve for the first 10 minutes after sitting down at the table, but the server who took care of us did an excellent job making it up. So overall experience was great!

The view of Diamond Head was incredible. The mac sauce on the glazed chicken wings was finger-licking good. The Tokyo pancakes were delicious and fluffy. The BEST part of the meal was the Haupia French toast burger. I am still dreaming about it! Definitely a must-try.

Checked all the boxes for us, quality food, food options, nice vibe, ambiance, great view, great service & well priced.

It didn't start off too great but ended ok. The greeters need to smile at their guests. Our seats were kinda weird, a small round with two seats side by side, and I mean side by side (we were 2 women who weren't a couple) and we couldn't move the chairs because they would be in the aisle. The woven straw chairs were sunken in and the wooden rim became uncomfortable after a while. I wished there was a pillow. Then there seemed to be a mixup on who our server was so it took a while to have our order taken. But our server was very pleasant. The place was hectic and didn't look too clean but I guess its because its next to the pool? The food was good and we enjoyed our meal. The sliders with the short ribs and hamburger was a great combination. Mahi fish tacos were good but breaded and deep-fried fish, I was expecting grilled. But it was a good portion and the fish seemed fresh. The shoestring fries were wilted and soggy, yuk.

The pigeons at this place are ridiculous and there's is no indoor dining as mentioned in the app The waitress was more concerned with chatting with her coworkers then doing any kind of table service Sad because view is magnificent

We had to hunt down our server anytime we needed anything and after waiting forever for him to take our order, bring our check and then pick up the cards so they could be charged. The view is outstanding and food was good. What I expected for the price.

My kind of place!!! Perfect view, service, drinks, ambiance and food (we only had snacks but they were amazing). We were out and looking for a nice place to land for a few bites and HH drinks since we had a late night dinner resy elsewhere. The Liliko'i Margarita gets chef's kiss 🤌🏾 I was hesitant about the pre batched margarita, however, it's AMAZING. But of course it's because all of the ingredients are made in house. The drink is FRESH. My friend had a fresh juice and we shared hamachi carpaccio and a salad and everything tasted like they'd just caught the fishy and picked the veggies from their garden. The ambiance was PEACEFUL as well. Abbey was our host and was lovely!! Definitely coming back to Deck on my next Waikiki trip!!

Lovely location, food was good, brunch menu, out of pancakes but the French toast delicious, açaí bowl was so so, our server was busy and so it was slow, but overall nice, it's pricy and noisy, boisterous, I've been to dinner there it's not as loud on the lanai.

⭐ 1/5 - Terrible Food Quality - Don't Waste Your Money**

I'm genuinely shocked at how poor the food quality was at The Deck in Waikiki. Despite the beautiful location and the promise of American Pacific-inspired cuisine, our dining experience was an absolute disaster.

We visited with a group and ordered several entrees, and every single dish had major problems:

The **filet mignon** - which should be the star of any menu - arrived at our table **completely cold**. Not lukewarm, but cold, as if it had been sitting on a counter for 20 minutes before being served. For a premium cut of beef at these prices, this is inexcusable. When you're paying top dollar for filet, the absolute bare minimum is that it should be served hot.

The **chicken Caesar salad** was equally baffling - it came out essentially as a plate of dry lettuce and chicken with **no dressing whatsoever**. How do you forget the Caesar dressing on a Caesar salad? It's literally in the name! We had to flag down our server to get dressing, which turned what should have been a simple dish into an ordeal.

The **Kauai garlic shrimp** was perhaps the worst offender - the garlic was **burnt to a crisp**, giving the entire dish a bitter, acrid taste that was completely inedible. This is basic cooking 101 - don't burn the garlic. We could barely get through a few bites before giving up.

For a restaurant in prime Waikiki charging tourist prices, this level of kitchen incompetence is unacceptable. It's clear that either the kitchen staff doesn't care, or management isn't supervising food quality before it leaves the kitchen. Either way, there are dozens of better restaurants within walking distance that actually know how to properly prepare and serve food.

**Save your money and go literally anywhere else.**

Had three experiences at this restaurant. Two were among the very worse restaurant experiences of my life. One was adequate. The food is fine. The views are decent. Unfortunately the wait staff are all unhappy, grumpy, and literally don’t wait on customers. It was so bad that at least had a dozen guests outside of our party were going up to the waiter station themselves to fill their own water and get things like utensils and napkins. There are much better options for service in Honolulu. Don’t go here unless you want to wait an hour for a drink and get the wrong food! That’s what happened to us 2/3 visits on this trip.

The view of Diamondhead is unparalleled. You can also see Waikiki beach.

The service is miserable. The servers hate all customers and themselves. It takes 45 minutes to get a coffee. It's a two hour ordeal to get a meal. Want your check? Good luck. Hope you don't have anything scheduled that day.

The food is decent.
