I was greeted with open arms by the host as soon as I walked in the door. Our server was just as friendly and loving, and she had a great personality as well.
The restaurant was spotless, not even one table was dirty. The staff here are top notch and are EXCELLENT at their jobs !!!
The food came out hot and it was delicious. The restaurant was quiet and a nice break away from all the noise.

After 12 days of being in Hawaii, it was an absolute pleasure stepping into this establishment. The atmosphere was welcoming, the restaurant was very clean and Alyssa was incredibly kind, friendly and a pleasure to converse with. We will definitely be coming back to this location during our stay over the next several weeks.

We visited this restaurant three times. The food is truly excellent — delicious, beautifully presented, and the interior is very nice and cozy. We really enjoy the overall atmosphere here.
However, the service is unfortunately quite poor. Our first visit was wonderful — fast, friendly, everything perfect. But during our second visit for dinner, we were served by an older gentleman who kept forgetting about us. We waited around 15–20 minutes before he even took our order, and then another 30 minutes to finally get our food.
This morning, we came for breakfast, and the same thing happened again. We’ve been sitting for about 45 minutes now and still haven’t received our food. Apparently, the waiter forgot about us and left his shift without telling anyone.
It’s really disappointing because the food and ambiance are amazing, but the service quality is far below expectations. Hopefully, the management will pay attention to this issue — the place truly has great potential.

Ridiculously poor service. Waitress was nice bit unable to prioritize the importance of food under heat lamp for 30 minutes vs serving drinks to new customers and taking their orders. Kitchen got our order wrong. Coffee only got refilled on request afyer being passed up several times...with a pot in her hands. Manager gave me 5$ off for our trouble.....I didnt look happy so I got 10$ overall.

After a disasterous event at the Kapolei corporate location I decided to come to Denny's Waikiki a franchise restaurant where I have ALWAYS been treated as a welcomed guest. I ordered ONLY the NEW chocolate chip cookie dough pie that the waiter and bus boy threw away when I went to the Men's room. I came here to satisfy my taste buds. The very sweet & caring wait person Brenda took extra good care of me, and Christen the Manager on deck took time away from his duties to listen to my negative experience I had from the Kapolei store. I truly appreciated that. 9 ⭐ stars to Kuhio & Kapahulu Denny's.

This is the second round we've been coming here. Last time was in October 2023 and Alex was here then as well. We generally come at least once a day every time we visit Waikiki. Last time was for a week and this time it's 17 days and we come every day and most of the time we get Alex and she's awesome. Even when she's run off her feet she's always attentive and cheerful. True Ohana! We'll be coming here every time we visit Waikiki mostly because of Alex! If you get Rosie or Cienna can't go wrong as they're great too! Mahalo Nui Loa Gals!

The food was inedible, so I can't rate it. Coffee undrinkable. No hollandaise available, so no Eggs Benedict. The server was very pleasant despite her working conditions. Avoid like the plague!
