They cancelled on us the day before and sent us to a different and not comparable luau in some mall. It was terrible. Trying to get ahold of management is next to impossible.
The Diamond Head Luau offers a captivating cultural experience for visitors. The passionate performers showcase a mesmerizing array of Polynesian dances, from graceful hula to thrilling fire shows, leaving guests in awe. The luau provides a delightful variety of traditional Hawaiian cuisine, including Kalua pulled pork, mahi-mahi, and more, satisfying all palates. Guests are warmly welcomed with flower leis and complimentary Mai Tais, setting a welcoming tone for an immersive evening. The small size creates an intimate atmosphere, allowing guests to meet performers before and after the show. Instead of a traditional pig being pulled out of the ground, there are about seven tents with food from different companies, giving guests the chance to pick and choose. Every dish enjoyed by visitors was excellent. The entertainment is engaging, with a show filled with history, humor, and Polynesian dances, and the cast often stays afterward for photos and conversations. The scenery is stunning, being right on Waikiki Beach. Although the luau is temporarily closing for construction, there are hopes of finding a new location soon. Whether guests choose VIP or general admission, the Diamond Head Luau promises an unforgettable evening of cultural immersion, delicious food, and exceptional entertainment.
