Donuts, the sweetest way to start your day! Sweet is the love language for many, if not for everyone. A coworker picked up some warm, soft and fresh donuts for a staff relocating to another location. It was a sad day but with these mouth watering and sweet dreams sends a signal that OMG just makes you so happy and a delight to be around people. The s'mores is my first choice followed but cookies and cream. A must have donuts for any celebration! Note: I can't say much about the ambiance since I didn't pick up the donuts myself.

Staying nearby and thought we would give it a try. Nice little place and pretty easy to get in and out of. We ordered a sausage and cheese breakfast sandwich, maple bacon donut, and croissant bites to go. Gentleman was pretty friendly and got us out the door pretty quickly. We got back to the room and tried the sandwich, it was pretty good but could have been warmed up a bit more. The maple bacon donut was pretty good and the bites had good texture and flavoring. Overall pretty good for donuts and would recommend.

WOW - I mean WOW WOW WOW The apple fritters come out at 9 and are the most flavorful donuts on the shelf. Like a puffy soft donut- not even the big chain (CC) can touch the quality of their glaze plain. My service person was all smiles and happy. Who wouldn't working in this nostalgic cozy place. AMAZING

Donut King Hawai'i is located in Market City Shopping Center on the top floor in the corner where the ramp leads you down. They are by the big tree if you don't know where that is. You can't miss them as they usually have a line in the morning. The place is bright and clean offering many bakery goods along with drinks. I feel like I'm here at least every week or so to buy Mink her favorite plain croissant or a sweet craving she has. It's so often that I get the same item for her that I know the exact price with tax. Recently, since the time I left Hawai'i and came back, the price went up a few cents so that was a surprise for me. Even the staff thought it was funny because I always bring the exact change. They are very consistent and I can see why they sell out of certain items quickly so make sure to get there early. Only once I had to go to their Waikiki location for an item for Mink. Their donuts are soft and they offer many flavors. My personal favorite is their maple twist/donut. Great locally owned donut shop in the Kaimuki/Kapahulu area!

Been here 3 times. Our favorite donut shop! Donuts are fluffy, fresh, and so so good! The variety is excellent. Every time we've gone it's been busy. The wait is not long though and customer service is great. Our favorites are the maple bacon, glazed croissant bites, red velvet and the frosted old fashioned. They are all delicious though. Every kind. The egg, sausage, and cheese croissant was just as delicious. It's huge! And the outside was nice and crispy. If you are looking for a favorite donut shop, look no further! This is the only place to go.

I stumbled on this gem of a place by accident and the only regrets I had was not finding it sooner and not getting more before heading home. The donuts were delicious, soft, light and airy. Absolutely no regrets.

I messed up and didn't take any photos but I went at around 7PM on a Monday night and they still had some donuts. I grabbed a chocolate and strawberry sprinkled donut for dessert after dinner. They both seemed freshly made, very light. A little more frosting would have made them better but for someone who doesn't like much, these would be good for you. The place is quite small inside and no seating. Only a single employee seemed to be working so she had to grab your order and ring you up too. The line pretty much starts outside. There were several things I wanted to try but I'm trying to watch my figure HAHA! Chocolate Covered Yeast 7.5/10 Strawberry Covered Yeast 7/10 A little more frosting and these easily are in the 8s for me! I bet everything there is solid and definitely recommend swinging in if you need a donut and it's close.

Croissant bites That could literally be my whole review Parking is what you would expect from market city. It's either way open or horribly crowded. But this business is worth the gamble....because, croissant bites. The donuts are good. And my boys love them. But really...I only go here for croissant bites. Crispy and probably soaked in sugar water almost juicy. It's so weird and yet perfect. So delish. The people are always nice. And the shop is basically a counter with a drink cooler. Which is fine because....croissant bites. My kids love the other donuts. But this review and my heart belong to the croissant bites.

This might be the best hidden secret donut ahop on the island. If you like Krispy Kreme, you'll love Donut King. The donuts are so light and airy and feel like they just melt in your mouth. We live a ways away but sometimes go out of our way to get some.

There aren’t a lot of donut shops so I had to drive 20 minutes to get here and it was worth it. The donuts weren’t dense and very tasty. They remind me of Shirley’s on the mainland. There was a line outside the door when I got there but it moved quickly. Didn’t try any of the other pastries but they looked good!

I LOVE DONUT KING. You wouldnt believe me if I told you, but I dont even like sweets or sugary things. Let me just tell you, their donut holes is my absolute all time FAVORITE. I love krispy kremes, but we have none on Oahu, and let me say, donut king is the closet and by the BEST! Its nice and fresh and just like butter melts in your mouth...

A donut shop with a local feel.If you like fluffy donuts from Crispy Donuts, which is not available in stores in Honolulu, Honey Glazed has about 70% reproduction. It feels soft and nice. The shop's signature menu (?) Maple Bacon is an unusual donut that is popular in mainland America, and one theory is that it was first made by a shop called Swirls Bakery in Nebraska.By the way, I first ate it at a restaurant called Voo Doo Donuts in Portland, Oregon.Well, the taste of this Maple Bacon is both sweet and salty at the same time. The two extreme flavors attract each other, so each flavor asserts itself in your mouth. You can put aside whether it's delicious or not and simply have an interesting experience!Near this store is Leonard's Bakery, which is famous for its malasadas, the king of Hawaiian sweets, but it will be a great memory of your trip if you go a little further and try some unusual donuts.
