Make a reservation, show up and enjoy some of the freshest sushi you can get. We started with hot sake and the chefs sushi. Also had the poke nachos, basic but great flavors! My wife loved her vegan roll and I gave it a try, it was delicious. We’ve been here several times and Justin made this visit extra special. He was a great server. Recommended the chicken yakisoba after I told him I think I wanted noodles. He was right the chicken yakisoba was perfect with just enough heat to scratch my spicy itch. We also met Todd who happened to be there ensuring guest satisfaction, great guy. Told him how much we love coming here for great sushi. Between him and Justin the service was impeccable. We recommend the lychee martini, the hot sake, and any dish because we haven’t had one that wasn’t great.

Easy to make a reservation via phone for 7. Recommended to us by our friend who has lived here awhile. Lots of food options even for selective eaters. They messed up our ticket and immediately took the item off/rushed it. We loved the garlic edamame, the pork gyoza, the ultimate spicy tuna roll, the tuna tataki, the hamachi roll, and the wagyu beef fried rice. Could skip the chicken yakisoba and the popcorn cauliflower.

We had the best butter fish at Doraku!
This location is in Royal Hawaiian village.
Beautiful decor and they have both indoor and outdoor.
Tuna Don was fresh. Tuna tataki was tasty. Sushi roll was ok.
Definitely one of the good meal we had in Waikiki.

Recommended by a local, Doraku was an terrific place for dinner. The food and drinks were all outstanding. Popcorn Cauliflower was a tasty way to begin, and we shared the Wagyu Beef Fried Rice (prepared table side which was very fun) and Misoyaki Butterfish. Both were delicious - the Butterfish was exceptional. Our wait staff - Wei - did a great job.

Absolutely the best sushi I've had in my stay in Hawaii! We sat at the sushi bar to watch the show lol! Everything that was recommended- we got and it didn't disappoint! Enjoy :)
