We were hoping for life-changing sushi while in Hawaii. This wasn't it. Very good, but not anything we can't get back home in Minnesota. If you're looking for a sushi fix while in Waikiki, this will definitely fit the bill, and do it well. Just don't expect any epiphanies over it.

Every dish we tried was delicious! My favorite was the Black Peppered Ahi roll and the Misoyaki Butterfish.

Our dining experience at this sushi restaurant in Hawaii was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, every element — the service, the cuisine, and the atmosphere — reflected care and craftsmanship.
Be sure to sit at the bar and ask for Sharon. She’s not only warm and engaging, but also a true master behind the counter. Her cocktails are outstanding, and the selection of whiskey, bourbon, and tequila rivals that of any high-end lounge.
Every dish we ordered impressed, but the Hamachi Garlic Roll was the undeniable standout — perfectly balanced, beautifully presented, and absolutely unforgettable.
A truly memorable dining experience that captures the best of Hawaii’s culinary creativity and hospitality.

We are mid afternoon and it was perfect. We had a window seat with a gentle breeze blowing in and could watch the sights out our window. We ordered three dishes and all were amazing. The scallop and pork belly was a perfect pairing and the sauce was sublime. The tuna tataki was a great balance with the garlic aioli adding a nice second note to the tuna. My spouse had the spicy tuna roll and it was delicious. All the portion sizes were perfect for the price. This is a great location in Waikiki and the food makes it a perfect spot. The service was even better as it was attentive but not overbearing. We will be back!

We eat here a couple of times on our trip to Waikiki. Food is good, as is the service (which was better on one evening). Getting before 6pm for the Happy Hour menu and it is pretty reasonable.

The happy hour is very solid
Sushi was delicious. We also had sake and edamame. All the food and sushi we saw at other tables looked delicious as well. The vibe here is classy but relaxed. Loved the outdoor option as well

This was an authentic Japanese restaurant for sure, fresh sushi, and I had the Saki flight which was refreshing. The sushi rolls were amazing. It's on the top floor of a strip mall so kinda hard to find. The overall setting could have been a tad more inviting. The only reason it gets a 4 star rating from me.

The butterfish is a must try. It was delicious, crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth buttery on the inside. If you like Japanese cuisine this is the place. As far as sushi goes, it is affordable without sacrificing quality. The vibe is trendy and casual. Amazing sushi, amazing tempura. Beautiful views overlooking Waikiki. 10/10 suggested! Was tipped off about it by a local waiter at the Moana brewery and it did not disappoint.

Great authentic sushi place. Fish was ample, service was outstanding and the ambience was quiet. Good drink selection. I gave 4 stars because the sushi rice kept falling apart. Happy hour menu is a good value.
