Different flavors you may not find anywhere else in Waikīkī. It’s hard to find if you aren’t looking for it. Go down Kealohilani Avenue. It’s in a parking ramp. Once you find it, it’s worth the adventure. Only open 17:00-21:00.
The name of the place is quite self-explanatory. If you visit too frequently, you might end up gaining a lot of weight, haha. In all seriousness, I absolutely love the ice cream, particularly the White Rabbit and Brown Sugar Vanilla flavors.
We wanted ice cream after Momosan apps, and couldn’t resist the hilarious, HONEST name! We found the shop with Google map’s help for the last minute of walking 😂. So so good. So many tasty choices. For our first time, I had brown sugar vanilla and chocolate; the husband had two dips of Kona coffee. Did I say so, so good? The proprietress was a doll, so friendly and aloha. We will be back before our Waikiki time is over. Mahalo, Double Fat Ice Cream! 🌺
