Duc's is open from 4:00pm, which is perfect for all the downtown happy hour frolickers. The time was however perfect for my elderly parents. We scored prime parking in front of the restaurant and maneuvering my parents were quite a breeze. The owner immediately greeted us us with a buttery smile and took my parents' drink order. We applauded the escargot, baguettes, and steak Saigon. We wished the lamb a little warmer. The spring rolls were the star of the show.

Great food and gracious attention from the owners. We let the owners order for us. They asked about our likes and dislikes, and took it from there. Be ready to share the smaller plates and enjoy the taste adventure.

Had an amazing dinner here. Highly reccomend the French bread and lobster bisque. I also really enjoyed the lamb entree. Wasn’t a big fan of the spicy beef. Service was excellent.

From the very warm welcoming when first seated, to the amazing service and hospitality, to the very best and most delicious soon. Will be returning eveytime we’re in town! Thank you, Ducs Bistro!

Duck's Bistro was recommended by a friend & I'm glad he did! This place was amazingly awesome! The food was very tasty and unique. The staff were very friendly and polite. It's a family oriented restaurant which adds a lot unique value which is important.

Five of us just celebrated my wife's birthday in this hidden gem of a restaurant in Chinatown! All the glowing reviews of this restaurant are well earned and deserving! As others have already mentioned, Duc's is a family-run operation (for 33 years), with Duc's son currently running things, while father Duc and other family members support in the background. The food is delicious and served family style, with spoon-sized pieces to make it easy for everyone to sample everything, and still leave enough for seconds. Our starters were the escargot, eggplant, spring rolls and baguettes. Our entrees were beef curry, lemon grass chicken, Saigon duck breast, and peppercorn steak, with saffron rice and side orders of sugar snap peas (green beans weren't available tonight) and more eggplant. Desserts were chocolate ganache, crème brûlée, and affogato. All dishes were delicious, and the service was excellent. This restaurant is just perfect in every way! Take your mainland visitors there at your next opportunity!

We celebrated our dear friend's birthday tonight. Food was very delicious. Lots of flavor without anything being too overwhelming. We had a pre fix dinner and we were able to try everything! We even had lobster!! It was sooo yummy. The sauce with it, added a nice touch to the tender lobster!! Even the bread that came with the escargot was so soft with a nice crunchy crust. The service was also great!! The owner, his son Ian, the other servers were so nice and on top of everything!! Being in Chinatown, I would have never thought to come here, but after this great evening I would venture into downtown again. It's worth it! There's free 3 hours of parking in the lot across the street after 5 with their code.

Duc and his son, Ian, serve up a flavor explosion of French-Asian fusion that delights tastebuds with traditional themes that have exquisite twists which create a "best I've ever had" experience.
