Didn't really understand why there was such a long wait to get seated after we had our meal. Food was ok but did not feel like it was worth the price. The table was sticky etc.
Unfortunately, this place has gone downhill since 2013. The prices are high. The food is mediocre. The fruit for the Rainbow Pancakes were not fresh they were soft and almost rotten. The pancakes were not light and fluffy. Service was slow, and sometimes I think they forgot I was there. The birds are also feral, and you are on your guard constantly. I won't be coming back here. The atmosphere was not great either. It was hot, no fans or air con, and the breeze was non-existent....
Best part of Hawaii. Amazing food, servers and atmosphere. The loco moco with the fried rice made me tear up it was so good. I would recommend this place to everyone I know. Please participate in the make a wish donations they are doing. It’s very important to them and we should give back since they give us so much.
