10/10 - my new go to Mexican restaurant on the island. Everything is home cooked and delicious. The refried beans were my favorite and had such a nice Smokey flavor. They have generous portions with great prices. Thank you to the lovely aunty who runs the place, and literally does it all: answer the phone, make the food, and pack it up.

Order the chicken enchiladas and pozole. The enchiladas were not good. Very watery. They are served with rice and beans. Those do taste like the ones I grew up eating. Pozole tastes better. I have never eaten pork pozole but I really liked it. They included lettuce, onion, and lemon. Something was missing but I can't think what. In general the food needs more flavor but it does remind me a lot of what my family cooked. They don't have horchata or jaritos.

Awesome flavor! Had the chile verde burrito and it was so gooooood!!! Been looking for more authentic Mexican food like Cali has(not Taco Bell). Try and you won’t be disappointed!
