Good food, at very typical prices for a korean plate lunch place. Good quality sides. One plate has enough food for several meals.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Gina's BBQ catering for an event of 15 people, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The entire process, from ordering to enjoying the food, was seamless and delightful.First off, the pricing for their catering services is incredibly reasonable, especially considering the quality and quantity of food provided. It's rare to find such value, and Gina's BBQ really stands out in this regard. The taste of the food was absolutely fantastic—each dish was a hit among the guests, featuring authentic Korean flavors that were both rich and satisfying. The variety offered ensured that there was something for everyone, from perfectly seasoned meats to a range of side dishes that complemented the main courses beautifully. Moreover, the volume of food was more than generous. We ordered for 15 people, yet there were ample leftovers, which we happily enjoyed the next day. It's worth noting how well the food reheats, retaining its flavor and texture. In conclusion, Gina's BBQ exceeded my expectations with their Korean catering service. The combination of great prices, delicious and authentic food, and generous portions makes them a standout choice. I highly recommend Gina's BBQ for anyone looking to cater their next event with top-quality Korean cuisine. We'll definitely be ordering from them again!

Seems like everyone has similar opinions about new owners... I was surprised to find the place without a line. The price went up, and somehow they got my order wrong too.

Horrible, horrible service. Try calling in for my orders instead was greeted with hostility over the phone and the lady said she was busy and hung up on me. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and drove to order instead. Once I was inside I wasn't greeted and the vibe was off no aloha at all. As I proceeded to order the lady kept rushing me to pick my sides and entree. I had two orders one for me and one for my coworker. As she proceeded to hand me my order she drop my coworker order and it fell on the ground. I can than hear the cook and the other cashier laughing as I was just looking at them like how is that funny. The lady proceeded to tell me it will be another 7 mins. After I got my food I just left. I never felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome in my life and I grew up here. Never coming back.

Great spot for takeout Korean barbecue. No tables or waiters, just a counter to place your order and a bar for sides. But who needs all that overhead when you just want really good food for takeout! The food prep is fast and the staff is friendly.Parking: Parking can be tight at peak time, but there is a less busy lot at the lower level of this mall.

I have been going here often since I was in middle school, but I think they changed owners recently because a lot of things changed. The prices went up while the portions went down. Taste for the taegu was different and the mac salad was not even the same. It was mayo with potatoes and had a completely different taste. I don’t think I will be coming back again sadly.

Now they increase the pricing but they give you less meat than before . I pay 18 for a plate but look like a mini plate from a normal Korean restaurant. I will not returning it again I’m over with this . So sad Is not like last year .

I used it for the first time in November 2023.This is my favorite Korean BBQ takeout restaurant. This time, my family of four stayed at Aston at the Banyan for about a week.Unfortunately, Me BBQ, which I used to frequent around Kuhio Ave./Uluniu Ave. near this condominium, had closed, so I came here to buy a Yakiniku bento for dinner on days when I didn't have to cook for myself. It's located in the same Kaimuki district as Leonard's Bakery, famous for its Malasada. It's a bit far from Waikiki on foot, so take The BUS 13 from Kuhio Ave. or 18 from Ala Moana and get off at Kaimuki Ave. We're located in the Market City Shopping Center, along the H1 expressway and close to Food Land, so you can also do other shopping as well.I took out two "Kalbi (I wonder if bone-in grilled meat is called Kalbi in Hawaii) SET" for about $18 (because I'm a family of four, but the volume is perfect), and the Kalbi with fragrant charcoal grilled on rice and the macaroni salad. I was able to choose two types of garnishes such as and kimchi. The Korean owner and his wife were very kind and made us feel comfortable. I will definitely come again.Parking: Parking is available at Market City Shopping Center.
