Got two mixed plates so got to try the smoked meat, smoked chicken, hamburger steak, and chili. All the smoked items were definitely the highlight. I didn't care much for the chili and the hamburger steak. The chilis flavors were not the best and I definitely prefer brown gravy for my hamburger steak. I'd come back again but will definitely just get more smoked items - if it's in the name of the restaurant, stick to those items.

I got a pupu bowl of half smoked chicken and half smoked spicy pork. They are both beautifully charred, tender, and super flavorful. Though I liked the extra kick of spice of the spicy pork, it was way too fatty for my taste so I prefer the chicken. They ran out of galbi when I got there before noon so I would go early if you want to try that out.

Had a get together at Guava Smoked and it was a great experience! The outdoor seating area was perfect with the sun going down and the breeze coming in. The star of the evening was the smoked meat and fish. The butterfish collars, pork, meat and everything else was delicious! If you have people coming from out of town this place is a gem. Great staff too!

Extremely impressed with the smoked pork pupu! The loco moco wasn't as impressive - the rice was soggy/squishy and the gravy tasted like it came from a mix. I'd definitely go back for the barbecue pork, though!

Awesome smoked chicken and pork. We bought a pan of each and it was more than enough for our small party. Already recommended to a number of people. Kapahulu one is a little bit hard to find, but if you open your eyes, it'll be right in front of you. The restaurant itself is nice too.

Smoked spicy moco loco it's amazing, hands down the favorite thing I order from there. And the brownie they make is really good. Everything else is good also but the moco loco just hits hard

Good meat, we ordered smoked chicken and pork. It was not overpowering. The flavor is good. The rice was mushy. The sit down area was nice and clean. The cashier was friendly. He explained to us the menu and helped us with the order.

Had a serious craving for some bbq. 1st time customer visiting their spot on Kalihi St. Got the spicy smoked meat and smoked chicken. Wasn't too spicy on the front end, the heat came after a short period of time. Nothing crazy. They use a brown and white rice mix, nostalgic of school cafeteria rice. To my suprise, this blows plain white rice. The balance of brown and white and stickiness of the rice, i've no doubt is a contributing factor to the success of the "Smoked" entrees they support.
