This has been my go to for as long as I can remember. Perhaps maybe even the first okazuya experience I've had. I was up early and just had to have some okazuya style food so I made the drive. Sadly, they didn't have the tempura foods ready that early in the morning. Wish I knew that but with mitsuba just down the road I was saved.
Old skool vibe (if you know, you know). This place is not fancy but old and cozy. Like most okazuyas, there is no seating. Take out only. Service is on point, and they can be very busy even with 3 servers. The food choices are excellent if they're still available, so it's better to go early. Prices are good. There are a couple of parking spaces on the side of the building well as off sreet parking.
This is the best place for tempura and fried butterfish.
Parking: Street parking in front of store. And there's one or 2 parking stalls available beside the store in front of a house. It's hard to find parking when busy.
