Great place for coffee and some 1v1 with some cute cats! Definitely some of the best coffee we have had while on our week long vacation. Will definitely come back.

Away from our 6 kitties (and one tiny dog) longer than we've ever been apart. Met many dogs while away but needed some kitty cuddles. Such a very welcoming environment, great Staff. Settled down with a kitty who had just arrived a day or so prior. I believe they said his name is Blue. Occasionally one of the kittens would jump up on my lap. It was just the break I needed to unwind a bit. They all are so special and I pray they will all find forever homes very soon.

You come here because you love cats—and because the people behind this place really love cats. Not in some gimmicky, Instagrammable way. This place has soul. There’s heart behind every whisker and paw. Their mission is simple and beautiful: get these cats adopted. Give them a shot at something better. You feel that the second you walk in. Yeah, there’s another cat cafĆ© at Ala Moana. Fancy. Exotic breeds. Sleek decor. But you can feel it—it’s all about the money. There’s no heartbeat in that place. It’s curated, polished, cold. Here, it’s messy in the best way. Real. Honest. These folks aren’t chasing profit—they’re chasing happy endings for cats that need homes. You’re not just sipping lattes and petting fluff. You’re part of something that matters. If you love cats—and I mean really love them—this is where you go. You spend your money here because it means something. To the cats. To the people. To the mission. That other place might have the gloss, but this one has the guts. This is the one I stand behind.

Wonderful coffee, cats, and staff who tell you all about the cats available for adoption. Supported by the SPCA.

Cool cafe with a clowder of adoptable cats, ranging from kittens to full grown cats.
Cafe products were good and reasonably priced. Gifts, cat related items/merch.

We are cat lovers, and this is a cat cafe. Do I really have to say anything more? The staff was really terrific. There were 19 cats available. Of course, you shouldn't disturb a sleeping cat, but enough of the cats were active that we had a really good time. I would recommend paying for an hour as opposed to a half an hour. A half hour goes by really quickly. When we were there, a half hour visit cost $17, and the hour cost $21.

We did not try any of their food, although we did buy two of their t-shirts for souvenirs. I think they were $29 each. Those are probably the only souvenirs we are going to buy in Hawaii! Totally worth it.

Fantastic way to spend an hour. Plus, the staff was amazing as well. Especially, the young lady from Cabot, AR.

My husband and I went in on a whim. I didn't expect this little cafe to be the highlight of our week, but here we are! My favorite part, besides getting to pet several kittens at once of course, was the staff. We booked a 30 minute slot to start, and it quickly went by! The room volunteer was so helpful and kind. Every kitty we pet she told us all about their personality, habits, and history if available. You can truly tell they love the cats deeply and wish them the best. it's also so nice that they are so helpful when choosing a kitty that's right for you. personality is so important! Also, the drinks were fantastic! I got a mango matcha tea and was so happy with it. Perfectly sweet! Thank you again for giving us such a fun experience! You'll see us again for sure :)

Went here during my two week visit and omg this has to be my favorite cat cafe. Me and my husband got lucky when we visited bc it mostly just us and we are able to play with all the kittens and cats ā¤ļø I ordered a matcha latte which was really good. The cat cafes I went to (which is in NJ/NYC) don’t have drinks/pastry options so I was very pleased to know that this is an actual cat CAFE ā˜•ļø šŸ˜‹ Lastly the employees were very nice and attentive to the cats. Highly recommend to visit if you’re a cat lover!

Losing my dear friend Lighting (pet cat) was hard on me. He was ran down by some manic; most likely a drunk driver. Lighting wasn’t fast enough that day. He was only playing near the road with some butterflies. Anyway I’d never heard of a cat cafe; I’m from a small town in the middle of nowhere but when I heard the locals talking about the coffee and cats here I had to give it a try. Coffee and service were outstanding. You can sit and enjoy your coffee and watch the cats. Made me tear up remembering Lighting.

Over the course of my 3 month stay on the island, the Hawaii Cat Cafe has become of my favorite hangout spots. The cats are well-cared-for and every member of the staff has been friendly and pleasant to chat with. Drinks are pretty great too!

This cafe is not trying to be a luxury high-end sort of place attempting to squeeze money out of the animals. It's literally a mom and pop non-profit that prioritizes taking care of the cats and helping them get adopted (over 3000 since they've opened!). All the cats here are looking for homes, and the experience is a great way to get to know them or just take a break from regular Hawaii activities.

Highly recommend stopping in to grab a drink and spend some time with the kitties. Parking is not the best, but it's an easy 10-15 minute walk from Waikiki center.
