Hawaiian Aroma Caffe - The Ilikai

Went there with my husband and son. We ordered a cup of latte and a waffle. The coffee was quick but waited too long for the waffle. The coffee tasted so bad, and the waffle was so dry and not worth the price. If you have an other choice, don’t go to this place.

Aroma Caffe is a convenient and quaint café located at Ilikai. Due to the convenience of the location, we have visited them twice for breakfast. They get pretty busy, but they move quickly. The menu is limited, and they are unable to do any substitutions. My husband is a fan of the açaí bowls and the blueberry muffins, and I've stuck to the bagels. The first time I had the bacon bagel, but I removed the bacon and second time, I had the everything bagel with cream cheese. I've also tried their iced coffees, and they are enjoyable. Overall, it's a great spot for a quick breakfast. There is available seating outside and limited seating inside. If you're looking for something quick and convenient, this is a good option.

Good food but a little pricy, I got the bacon bagel ( everything bagel with spicy mustard bacon cheese and eggs) and it was 12.85$. And a small hot coco for 4.25$. My husband got a red bull infusion for 6.95$ and the French toast berries for 17.65$. They were a little hard to find but otherwise a cute place to eat right near the ocean and harbor . They sold ground coffee, stickers and other cute little items as well. Also there are waterfalls right next to the eating spots which is really cute . There was quite a line as well at 8:00 am so maybe get there earlier and expect a wait. All and all a good place to eat

Nice, convenient place to grab a quick drink after a morning walk on the beach. The ladies are nice and there is outdoor seating.

I’m from Australia and I always love to come here for a coffee every time I stay at the Ilikai in the summer. It’s a beautiful cafe. I recently tried an açai waffle which was nice. The staff there are lovely too!

5 star açaí bowl. If you’re in Hawaii be ready to pay Hawaii prices

Delicious acai bowls, coffee, and ham/cheese croissant sandwich. Coffee can be ordered on mobile order. Restaurant located within Ilikai Hotel which is walking distance from Hilton Lagoon Tower in Waikiki. Even when there was a line it moved fairly quickly and was worth the wait. Tables and chairs to sit at (first come first serve) right outside the restaurant. Casual. Many resort guests were walking around with bathing suits and cover ups to order and eat their food.

Great spot for coffee and açaí bowls! The location is super convenient if you're staying at one of the nearby hotels. I was really impressed with the staff—they worked together so well and stayed friendly and professional even with a long line. I came back a couple times and enjoyed it every time. Definitely worth a visit!

Amazing Acai Bowls. Absolutely delicious!

I ordered the everything bagel and I think a better name for it would be a barely nothing bagel. I ordered toasted and it was barely warm and still doughy tasted stale The cream cheese is a tiny tub of Philadelphia cream cheese on the side. Very disappointing. It has to be the worst bagel I’ve ever had

I had just one dessert and one tea. The dessert portion was ridiculously small and the price was outrageously high. It’s a tourist spot, sure … but charging this much is nothing short of a rip-off. Absolutely not worth the money.

Delicious Hawaiian pastries, great coffee and friendly staff here. They have a full range of sandwiches and breakfast items too including some amazing waffles!
