Nice stuff, tourist prices.

My husband and I came in here for a quick bite before our flight to New York and we had a fantastic meal. This is not what you would expect at the airport! We had terrific service from a nice woman who helped us quickly get our food. I ordered the fish dish which was outstanding - as good as I would expect to get at Roy's or fine dining in Honolulu. My husband got an avocado wrap with fries that was also very tasty. What a great place to grab a meal before your flight on Hawaiian Airlines and Honolulu!

Hawaiian Airlines's first class lounge didn't offer the meals so I was looking for a place before the boarding. This was my first loco moco. I loved it.

Located at the Honolulu airport just inside the gates, Mauka Market is actually a very nice restaurant. The wait for a table was about 10 minutes for us, and our waitress was extremely helpful telling us immediately that the wait time on food is about 20 minutes, just to give you an idea whether you have time or not to grab something to eat. We ordered drinks, and the drinks were at the table within 3 minutes. The burger came in about 10 minutes. The seasoned fries are a bit spicy ....just be warned. There's a couple of negative reviews for the servers, but that was not my experience. The server was very kind and helpful. The only real downside is the burger was $23. With two cokes and tip, it's over $40 dollars splitting a burger. YMMV but I was happy with the experience.

Went here since we had a long layover and it did not disappoint! Started with the shishito peppers which some were spicy some were not. The peppers themselves didn't hold much flavor but adding the lemon and using the two sauces provided made the dish. For the main course I ordered the miso ramen and it was WONDERFUL, especially for airport food. I would come back here specifically for the miso ramen. The broth was so flavorful, definitely restaurant worthy. Highly recommend! The Mauka signature burger was a typical burger. Wasn't anything to rave about, but better than the Burger King down the way. The cook was good on the burger. Service was good. I was impressed the waiter checked my ID for my credit card (because I specified to do so on the back--yet no one ever checks) so extra credit! Ambience was nice. Nicely lit restaurant with bar seating and a sit down area. If you come to this newer restaurant, order that RAMEN!!!

Mauka Market located in Hawaiian Airlines Terminal 1. Black garlic Tonkotsu Ramen was soooo yummy! Worth the price.

This place was amazing I believe our server was Amy and she was a doll! She went above and beyond for us. She was so sweet and grabbed us extra sauce when we asked. She did say they ran out of coffee though even on the morning so I'm not sure what that was about but we did get a second cup. The food was good. The Moco Loco could have used more gravy but the meat was delicious. The location of this restaurant inside the airport by Hawaiian airlines is perfect because it's also connected to the small mart adjacent to the dining space. The space they used that jetty's out into the terminal looks amazing! The tiki inspired look but blue accents make the ambiance perfect.

We sat in the restaurant area. The waitress zipped around to get everyone's order--very attentive. When the food came, it was hot and obviously just made. We had our credit card ready, as our flight was beginning the boarding process and the waitress cashed us out very quickly. The grilled mahi-mahi bowl was delicious, with a very generous serving of the fish. My husband had the avocado wrap with bacon added. He said it was quite tasty. This is one of the best meals we've ever had at an airport!

[Food] - Shishito Peppers ($10): Peppers were big, grilled nicely, and had a slight kick of spice. Also love adding lemon as it brings an extra freshness to the dish. Worth it for the price. Sauces come with a mayo aioli and sriracha mayo. - Ahi Pokè Bowl ($25.99): Slightly overpriced but still enjoyable. All the ingredients were fresh, Just wish there was more of each component. - Sparkling Guava Margarita ($20): To be honest, had I known this cocktail was so expensive I wouldn't have ordered it. It was decent in terms of taste as it was not too sweet. I was only slightly buzzed after finishing the drink. [Service] - Attentive, friendly, helpful [Ambiance] - Decent amount of seating from bar, booths, to tables. [Overall] - Although pricey, I have to admit this place was pretty decent for airport food

Nothing like I could ever imagine for Airport ramen, it was actually really good. Only thing I would've loved to be included was a Japanese-styled soft-boiled egg. $16 The broth was very tasty and this ramen here was honestly better than most black garlic tonkotsu ramen I had at ramen shops with great reviews.

I can't comment on the food since I waited 15 minutes and no one came to serve me even though the waiters acknowledged that I was there. Others were served before me. It's a bummer since the menu looked interesting and I was hoping to try a few dishes.

While waiting on a layover in terminal 1, I stopped here to get some lunch. The place was pretty packed, but I found an open spot at the bar that was designed for those in a wheelchair. The chair wasn't quite high enough, so it was a bit awkward. However, beggars can't be choosers. After looking over the menu, I ordered their Loco Moco. It was a grilled 8 oz beef patty with steamed furikake rice, gravy, fried eggs, mac salad, scallion, and crispy onions. It was pretty standard and not bad for some local food while waiting at the airport. The service was nice and friendly.

This is a very nice addition to the A gates in Terminal 1. There are already to-go options and bar seating in this terminal but the Mauka Market is a better all-in-one set up. it can understandably be very crowded before multiple departing mainland flights but there is a good amount of table and bar seating. As a sports oriented venue there are numerous TVs to get lost in. Gate announcements are easy to hear - a plus for procrastinating drinkers. It's new and the workers hustle and are friendly. An option to have ramen is a big upgrade. I had a black garlic tonkotsu ramen - there is also a miso and spicy kalua pork offered. The broth was not hot and lacked depth, but it had a satisfying balance of salt and porky fat. The noodles were a little overcooked and lacked bounce or chewiness. The pork chashu was cut thick and the green onions, kikurage, menma, and pickled red ginger were nice toppings. Don't bother with any add-ons. It is a less expensive and probably better choice than a salad or rice bowl. The food options are ordinary and a little pricey. You are paying for the real estate, not the food, so sit at the gates if that suits you better.

Food is great. Never have I ever thought I would give at 10/10 at an airport. It's the best choice out there. They just opened 3 months ago, and I loved the ambiance, service, and food. We got the black garlic tonkotsu ramen and burger. Loco moco looked good from another table. Drinks looked good too but I didn't get it this time.

Really good food for an airport, with lots of good dishes that showcase local Hawaiian flavors. Great service, friendly and helpful staff, and wasn't too busy and the ambiance of the new terminal feels much nicer overall. Teriyaki chicken bowl had good flavors, and well cooked veggies. I wish the dish had slightly more veggies overall and more sauce to help balance the dish.
