Went to get steak and shrimp at the Ala Moana location 04/06/24 about 215pm!! First off the girl taking our order literally shoved the sign across the counter asking what sauce, I over looked it and gave her my selection!! She started making our plates and I asked if they could cook the steakA bit more as it was really rare the girl behind the grill rolled her eyes as I was making the request, the one who took my order had the audacity to say, what? And slam the kids toOur plates shut and said something to the other girl behind the grill!! I than just told both girls you know what never mind!! I looked at both girls and told the girl behind the grill, why you roll your eyes when people order food and you have that kind of bad attitude people get sick!! I also told them that their service sucks!!

It's a nice and quick place to get quality food for a good price. Every time I go they never have Quinoa in this location. Their sauces are really good!

I had the steak plate and my steak wasn't hot; it couldn't even melt my garlic butter. Then, when I told the server, he gave me another plate, but the steak still wasn't hot! I miss the one in waikiki, where they cooked the steak right then, put the butter on your steak, so it could melt while you walked to your seat and it was worth the money. Sad, to say, this wasnt.

Came to visit and the smell caught my attention first. What made it better is because they usually have a weekly deal. The cherry on top was the flavors. That butter sauce is everything literally planning a trip back just for here.

I wish businesses wouldn't use a service up charges when you place an order online vs phone vs in person. It's the same food and isn't it convenient for both myself AND the restaurant that I do this? It doesn't take up their time to take or process my order/payment so I don't understand why I have to pay $3 more for the same exact thing. ($19.99 for mixed plate online vs 16.99 at the restaurant). I only realized the price difference after I placed my order, of course, but buyer beware. Just call it in. Don't bother with the Yelp online ordering system.

Terrible attitude and customer service. I was going to order a steak plate and I ask for some water, she responded we don't give water, even though they had a soda machine with a water button right behind her... Avoid this rude place! Terrible customer service!

The food was above average but a little pricey. My plate lunch came out to $21. I got the Ultimate Mix Plate (bbq chicken, steak, garlic shrimp) $17.99 with an upgrade to steak fried rice for $2.99 more. They didn't give that much protein. It just looks like a lot because it was sitting on the fried rice. They gave a lot of fried rice. I chose potato for my salad of choice with a side of lilikoi bbq sauce for the steak.The chicken was moist and tender. It was the best thing on the plate. The four piece garlic shrimp was coated in flour, deep fried and the garlic butter sauce was drizzled on after. I could tell the shrimp wasn't fresh as the meat was a little mushy. The steak was nicely seasoned and tender, but served at room temperature.
