Never have I had more flavorful sushi rice. Came here for lunch and had the sushi cup, one crab and ikura and one salmon with ikura, the karaage musubi and shrimp tempura musubi. They were beautifully made and the rice was seasoned perfectly. They were fresh and were not skimpy with the ikura. They are just a takeout with only one table outside for 3 people. My friend and I just cleaned our sushi bowls (parfait of rice, edamae, salmon, etc) and musubis. This is truly a wonderful place to grab lunch! Will be back for their bentos!

For some reason I always swing by this place on Tuesdays and they're closed! I realized it was Thursday and was so excited to check this place out. The selection of food that they have is unreal! Everything from vegetarian dishes to sushi bowls. I got their most popular dishes which were the yakitori chicken, Tonkatsu, hamburger steak, and miso salmon. My family and I shared the bentos family style so we could each get a taste of the different dishes. ALL OF THE DISHES WERE SO DELICIOUS! The yakitori chicken was cooked to perfection with a light sauce, the Tonkatsu was about an inch thick and MOIST, the Hamburger steak was fantastic as well. Each of the bento came with a few sides which really hit the spot. The employees there are all so helpful and friendly and parking is plentiful as it is in a small office building. If you're in the area, not on a Monday or Tuesday, definitely check them out!

The food is top notch but the hours are completely wierd for such a popular store. What kind of popular joint closes at 4pm with only 5 hour days and also closes on Mondays and Tuesdays?

I’ve been here several times and I try to get something different on each visit, everything is fresh and flavorful. I feel like I’m in Japan while inside the tiny but well stocked shop. If you have a sweet tooth, make sure to try their cream puffs.

My favorite place and must visit place whenever I'm back home. I don't know why it's taken me to so long to write a review, but here we go! My favorite things to get are the sushi cups (crab/ikura is my favorite, salmon/ikura is his- for some reason the only one we're not huge fans of is the spicy ahi/avocado). I've tried the bentos, musubis, and desserts and you really can't go wrong. Great value for the price and it's my number one recommendation to friends and family. You know it's a hit when everyone's back for the holidays and everyone has already made their visit here.

This place is a onigiri lover's heaven! They offer so many options and flavor combos, there's something for everyone's palette here! They also have a variety of bento box type lunches as well as poke bowls. I stopped by to pick up a few pieces to fuel me for a nearby hike and it was perfect. They also have some amazing desserts. I tried the black sesame cheesecake - SO good! I need more black sesame cheesecake in my life, that's for sure. We had a little trouble finding the cafe in the shopping center but it's on the bottom level with a few other shops and restaurants. Definitely give them a try!

The bentos and poke bowls are so delicious! The poke is fresh. The price is reasonable and the service is amazing. They open at 11 and run out quickly. Gotta be there early!

I try to stop by when I'm in the area, I absolutely love their food. Stopped by for the hamburger steak and sushi bowl, but ended up grabbing all sorts of musubi. There is usually a line, so be prepared to wait; the store is small and only allows 3 customers at a time. I've tried many of their items and liked pretty much everything I've had.

Excellent bentos and musubis. You can order by phone at 9:30 am and pickup at 11 am when shop opens. They sell out quickly.

Lines are out the door and they sell out fast on weekends. This place is the real deal. Such yummy and fresh bentos and Musubi. One of my frequently rotating places to eat.

Small spot to grab your preferred Japanese bentos. Do come early as they tend to sell out quick. Assorted musubis available too! I got the fish lovers bento and it was delicious. Very welcoming and quick service. Parking available in the lot. Thank you!

The best tasting and most affordable Japanese quick bites eatery in Honolulu for healthy and gourmet options that will, in fact, help you to lose weight if desired! The musubis are around $2 each, the cheesecakes are healthy, creative, and delicious, the bentos are elaborate and super generous, there is so much to choose from, and the lines may look long but it goes by quickly enough and it's all worth it. Parking is easy inside the same garage and lot as for the big two-story commercial complex that Higoto is housed within on the ground floor across the street from the Sacred Hearts school. The staff are so friendly and really make an effort to get to know the individual customers. The store is very clean and well-managed. A real gem in expensive Honolulu!

I got here 10 min before opening on a Friday and there was a line out to the sidewalk. This is one of my favorite bento places. Today I got the unagi bento, salmon ikura cup, and houjicha pudding. All delicious and fairly warm. It was delish as always. I love this place!

What a most wonderful gem in Kaimuki! Even if there's a line (it's a small take out shop, limit 3 ppl at a time), it goes by fast and it's definitely worth the wait. With various yummy musubis, bentos, and sushi bowls, it's hard to pick! I have to come back to try more dishes! Staff are really friendly and helpful too!
