Nice little ramen restaurant next to Don Quitos. I ordered the tsukemen and it was good. The broth was flavorful with a slight spicy kick, fatty and aromatic with woodland mushrooms and an ajitama egg. It was well-seasoned but served lukewarm, and I would have preferred it hotter. The noodles had a pleasant chew, though a slightly thicker cut would have made it even better.
The “Hiyashi” was lacking vinegar, in my opinion. With those ingredients, I think a touch more acidity would really bring the flavors together. The “Shio Ramen” seemed more like a “shio-tonkotsu” to me, and while it was tasty, the soup was unfortunately served lukewarm.
I wanted to have some authentic ramen and this place was everything the reviews made it out to be. The toroniku was amazing. As was the gyoza. All of the flavors just melded together perfectly. The eggs were also likely the best I have ever had.
