Definitely my favorite Chinese food spot! And I’m about to ruin the best kept secret in my neighborhood of Kapahulu. Definitely my go to family restaurant for special occasions or just when I’m too lazy to cook. The food is hot, fresh, and perfectly prepared. The flavor is always consistently delicious, and service is excellent and fast. They were a blessing during Covid, but I love dining-in family style! The Peking Duck! House crispy noodles with seafood! KaiYuk with taro! And The Minute Chicken with cake noodles! The beef chow mein! I’m getting hungry just writing this review. But the best is the left overs the next day when the gravy is soaked into the everything!! OMG

Food was tasteless, runny sauce, one entree was a normal entree size, the other one was the size of a small side. They forgot the egg rolls too.

This is a little different for me since I am conflicted. The food was good but not great. It appeared to be adequately prepared, and the flavor was good, but the beef was gristley, which shows a lower cut of meat. I will say this is better food than what you get at a chain restaurant.

Complementary green tea, the Spicy beef noodle soup is very yummy, it satisfied me. As a Chinese, I give 5 star 🌟🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

The food disappointed me. We were almost about to leave and not to pay for it, it was so bad. We had orange chicken and as far as I don’t like chains, Panda has way better food, also hor&sour soup was not good at all. Find another place.

Rice tasted like a dirty grill, fried wontons were cold, empty, and chewy. orange chicken tasted like a cheap bag of pf Chang's but worse. Service was decent. Could have been the worst meal I have ever had.

This place needs more recognition their food is really fresh and I highly recommend getting the orange chicken their recipe is delicious I was overwhelmed with the flavors they had to offer couldn’t stop eating. Great spot specially for family gatherings!

My wife and I come here for a weekend lunch sometimes. The food was yummy and price was reasonable. They provide a cup of corn chowder for each of us with our orders. Our favorite is salt and pepper pork chops and beef hofun. We also were invited as guests to a couple of banquets held in the restaurant. The food was even better. The koi jelley dessert was very interesting and delicious!

My partner and I came in on a complete whim just to try without looking at any reviews beforehand, and it was dead empty inside, but we still felt like being adventurous and ordered a few things. Was definitely subpar Chinese-American food, but it was certainly an experience. The hot sour soup was not sour at all and not really hot either 😂 the mango pudding didn't taste whatsoever of mango (or anything for that matter) and was a concerning neon shade of orange. Some things were not bad- the gongbao squid and almond tofu with canned lychee for example. Maybe best as takeout for a comfort food craving, but there's choke options on island that will likely satisfy better!

Ya can't go wrong with House of Wong. Sizzling black pepper beef, BBQ pork fried rice, chicken n broccoli, hot n sour soup - all great and so was the staff. Will probably become a regular.

My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing and uncomfortable from start to finish. Despite there being only one other guest when we arrived, we had to wait an unnecessary amount of time just to be seated – they saw us but didn’t bother to greet us.

Once seated, we placed our order, but it seemed like the waiter was in such a hurry that he only noted down two out of the three items we requested. After a long wait, we had to get up and go to the counter ourselves to ask about the missing order. It felt unprofessional and careless.

The most upsetting part was when the waiter brought a paper plate for my daughter. This is a restaurant, not a casual backyard party, and I expected proper dining standards. Not only that, but we felt like we were being judged the entire time, possibly due to our color, as they never brought water to our table or came to check on us. Any requests we had required us to go directly to the counter.

Overall, it was a terrible experience, and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. We left feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable, and we will not be returning.
