Food is just so so. And the set is small for one person. The service is really bad.

We walked by during lunch time and there was a spot! That almost never happens - usually you have to book a table ahead of time. We went in and had a great lunch.Food is very good, the staff is pleasant and the food comes out relatively quickly. The place is also not too loud (although it wasn't full at lunch time). Definitely worth a visit. Also: this place is a little like the tardis - it's bigger on the inside!

Slow service and average food.Messed up my order and my bill, waiter too busy talking to a table that is a friend.Perhaps leave the chatting to after-hours. There are customers waiting for food and bill.Parking: Little to no parking.

A very nice Japanese (Nabe) hot pot place. Japanese or western seating. Choose your broth, choose your protein / veggies and noodles. They do have a bar. Normally service is quick and efficient, however last night's experience was not. Hope this was an exception. Dining as a Group of eight (with reservation). Ordering process went ok, but then we got our broths. A few of us got the meats within 5 minutes. 4 people got vegetables but their proteins didn't arrive for 30 minutes. None of us got noodles until we were basically done with our meals (45 minutes) despite multiple requests. At one point I requested the manager, but like our original waiter, he/she was a no show. BTW, they were unable to split the bill despite having a handheld card reader. As we left, I asked what the problems were. They said that their noodle chef had a medical emergency. Odd, noodles were precooked and served cold. (You heat them in the broth at the table, so not a credible excuse). They also had a lot of staff, and other groups that came in after us finished their meals before ours was completely served. My take: just really poor management that wasn't paying attention. (That would also explain why the madman wouldn't talk to me or fix the problems.Fortunately, the Aiea store has been consistently outstanding.

Good hot Pot food here, you can choose your Combo Meal here & or order Ala Carte also. We've been to this location before, & I do enjoy coming here @Ichiriki near Ala Moana Shopping Center.Just remember to call in for a RSVP, we didn't because we are "Spur" of the moment Foodie kind of peeps here, haha.My Hubby didn't care for the Soup that much, (a lil more on the Saltier side, maybe), But I enjoyed everything from this Restaurant, Food, our Wonderful Waitress (JAIMIE!!!), she So Awesome & Nice & very informative about the Menu Selections, etc, including the Desserts we didn't order any because we were SO full from our Dinner! Lol!Other than that, please give this place a try if you've never been here before, sit down & dine-in, Relax & start Cooking your Hot Pop goodies right away :).Luckily for me, my Husband Cooks our Hot Pot food for us, cause he loves to Cook & I suck at Cooking anything, I just am not good at Cooking :D.P.S. - Please say, "Thank you" to our Wonderful Waitress "JAIMIE", she's a very good worker there & knows her job well & interacts with ppl great!!!P.S.S. - Thank you also to the Manager dude (with Da Aloha Shirt) that evening, he would make his rounds all around the tables to check-in on his Customers!! Thank you, Ichiriki, you guys Rock!! Aloha Nui! \000/

The best Japanese nabe ever! All the ingredients were fresh including the broth. Awesome customer service as well. Recommend 100%

The sukiyaki is my favorite to get, but downside is you need 2 orders of it! Everything is always so tasty. Pirikara broth is my favorite! Ask for more peppers to make it spicier! The happy hour menu is not too bad, not much of a discount, but anything counts! Always my go to hotpot!

This use to be my favorite Nabe place, but I'm sad to say the service and quality of food has really gone down. The Manager came by to take our order after we'd been sitting for awhile. Our server never addressed us until after we got all our food. The stars are for the Nabe. The broth is still high quality with great flavor, which is the only reason I keep coming back. The shio pirikara is my favorite. The quality of the chicken karaage has gone down in appearance and taste, also FYI not served with the hot sauce anymore just mayo. They also haven't had enoki mushrooms for over a year, but it's still on their menu? The menu that you need to scan to view. Tables are a bit sticky and booths are dated.

- Fun dining experience: semi-private, kick off your shoes and sit on the floor (leg area is cut out)- Mushrooms were delicious, broths flavorful and good quality meats/veggies- Service always at tentative and friendly- Great for date night or for the whole family
