We stopped by Il Gelato when they were less busy (the line can go out the door if multiple families stop at the same time and the inside of the shop is rather small). We sampled a few flavors: ube, Kona coffee, chocolate, haupia, and cheesecake cookies and cream.

The gelato itself was incredibly smooth and creamy, with a rich texture that is so soft and almost melty. They have a nice variety of classic flavors alongside Hawaiian-inspired options. Price was $8.25...

Alyssa & Ashley are the best. A few of us travel over from the mainland every few months for work, we always make a point to stop in and visit Ashley and Alyssa..their recommendations are always perfect.

Came in for an organic açaí bowl advertised out front, and was a bit disappointed to find out it was just a couple scoops of açaí sorbet with fruit on top. Tasted okay, but nothing to write home about and not worth the money.
