Food was overpriced for a plate of greens and very little of anything else. Services was extremely poor. Waitress threw a fit when we ask her to split the bill. Went off on how restaurants don’t split the bill with a party of eight. Completely rude and then added a 22% tip to each of the party and continued to make comments and display an attitude as she collected the checks. Horrible service.
We were looking for good Italian food and a great atmosphere. Although it is easy to miss from the street, it is the perfect place for great food, exceptional and personalized service and relaxing quiet atmosphere. The bruschetta came with four pieces but the server offered to give us 5 pieces, one for each of us instead of having us order another entire order, offering exceptional hospitality. IL TAPPO Hawaii was total surprise! Everything we ordered from the caprese salad, bruschetta, with tomato basil and garlic, pesto ala penne with chicken, the lasagna, the pizza with capacola, the wine recommended was amazing. We finished with the perfect size of tiramisu and a shot of amazingly chilled limoncello. This was a perfect meal start to finish. This place is a must go to if you visit here. Literally on the best meals we have ever had!!!
