Workers at this location act like they don't want to be there. I went and waited 10 minutes before leaving because no one was at the front taking orders even though there were some workers in the kitchen area in the back. Then after another 15 minutes 2 people came out and took orders from a few customers. I tried to order tacos but the worker said they didn't have any. So I left without ordering anything.

Come from Sydney Australia I was so excited to try all the different fast food in USA Jack in the box was so disappointing the two girls didn’t care I waited about 15 to 20 minutes for food. When I got back home people asked me what was the worst food you had and I has Jack in the box! When I go to Hawaii next year I will stay clear of this place!!

THEY MAKE YOUR FOOD WITH THEIR BARE HANDS!! No gloves on just bare hands touching everything else. You can see them making your food through the little window on the left. I just ordered my food saw that and never came back for my order I’m so disgusted. It’s sad enough that they only have 2 people working.

To tag on what another reviewer mentioned, the Jack in the Box has moved to the Makai food court. I had hope that the previous location had re-opened only to get baboozled.

I got a Sourdough Jack at the new Ala Moana restaurant at 8:00 in the morning, and after waiting for 15 minutes for the burger (while my fries got cold), I got a hamburger with (untoasted) bread, that was all dried out around the edges, with a small drink for $14.23. For a brand new restaurant in an upscale shopping center, this certainly reflects negatively on the franchise. You would think that they would make an effort at the beginning, to show that they were meeting the expected standards of the business model, and not just 'winging it'. I will hesitate to make an order at another restaurant, after this experience.

First time visiting Jack in the box as we don’t have this where we live. Ordered double cheese burger meal, spicy chicken meal, sides of tacos, onion rings, curly fries, Oreo shake. Chicken burger was okay, lots of sauce, shake was decent but cheese burger and tacos we struggled to finish. Meat quality was poor, tasted like eating cheap 2 star meat from supermarket, cheese was just sauce, and tacos were stale and barely any filling inside. Fries were Luke warm. Second worst meal I’ve had in Hawaii.
