Went there by chance, but oh my God, the food was absolutely delicious. The Japanese burger and Japanese potato salad were out of this world. Then the owner came out and spoke with my son and told us the history of the place and how he cooks & ingredients etc, he was so personable and so nice. I haven't seen an owner do that here in Hawaii, in the 15 years that I've lived here. I recommend !(I'm a foodie from New York City.)
Is possibly the healthiest food option on the island. We tried a couple of dishes and you can instantly feel the difference in quality while food is still very tasty. It’s pretty much a one person operation and the owner who is also the chef , is such a warm individual and takes special care to customize the food per your needs. It was SOOOO freaking good. Dijon Chicken literally was JUICYYYYY, Lotus root yummmy and that FRESH salad- I absolutely need the veggies after all the poke consumption. I CLEANED my plate. The lady at the front was super friendly and honestly with her recommendation!
