Bought a big white box for the office today. Everyone gets excited when someone brings the "white box" in from Kamehameha Bakery. However this time, all the donuts seemed as thought they were sitting in a bowl of oil. Every bite had a tsp full of oil. Normally, we bite into the donut and sometimes get a small amount of oil, but this time, everyone had a hard time eating it because of the amount of oil soaked in. Is this how its going to be now days?

THE ABSOLUTE BEST. Got two fritters, two mini taro donuts, a cream donut, and a regular donut and the total was like $11. It was damn cheap. Vibes are great. Staff are friendly. Quality is off the rails. Some of the best donuts I've had anywhere. Even my fritter snob of a girlfriend ate the whole thing and was asking for more the next day. Don't miss this gem. Arrive early.

Best Poi donuts on island! Always one line and get there early I'm talking 8am and no parking so that adds time as well not sure if it's cash only It's in the back and down the alley by Dillingham and all da good bakeries are hard to find but worth the effort and just keep driving around in circles by the alley it's the last street til u find it. Everyone waiting around that's IT!! By Lees Hawaiian Food stop when u see the line and Park legally Polive go here so don't get a ticket ! lmao The prettiest purple donuts EVER my oldest would have loved this if I had made the donuts into a round cake and SAID SURPRISE! Like a Bday Cake they are that GOOD Liliha Bakery does have maple poi donuts but they aren't the same color and not as delicious not even close even tho I kamehehabakery 5 star Best Donut On Island and I love Liliha but I give Liliha a 4 star on maple poi donut and I don't even like POI lol but they aren't that vibrant purple think of the most majestic purple u have ever seen and I don't think they add food dye and the donut melts in your mouth and just the most beautiful donut and the taste IS out of this world ONO Take to family friends and trust me they are gonna eat them Take a number and wait and no forget when they call ur number don't sit in the car u will get skipped btw Call Ahead and Order ahead so u don't drive over there and going going GONE!

The best bakery to try some locally made fresh baked items. It's a good place for fast takeout, and they offer lower prices if you pay in cash.

The poi malasadas are really to die for. I am a taro-lover so any sweets with poi hit the spot. They were dense, not too sweet, and not dry. 10/10 would buy more next time!

I made a special drive out to the West side of the island to get the poi donuts before they closed at 4pm. The poi donuts did not disappoint! I also decided to get a malasada (to continue the great malasada taste test), a poi haupia donut (which I then remembered is more like poi bread with haupia cream inside, which is not really a donut), and then at last minute was convinced by other patrons to get the banana fritter since they were out of the apple fritters but apparently the banana fritters also have apple in them. WOW. Because I had ordered the banana fritter on a whim, it was unfortunately/fortunately in a paper bag on top of the taped-closed box of donuts. So I could eat it as I was driving back to Hawaii Kai. I had to stop myself from eating the entire fritter, it was so good. And my daughter who ate the remains of the fritter agreed it was the best sort-of-apple fritter we'd ever had. Of course I should also mention the paper bag in which the fritter had been in was dripping oil by the time I got back to the house (30+ minute drive). So not a light snack! Banana fritter: 5*/5 Poi donut: 5/5 Poi haupia (bun I'll call it): 3/5 (because it's not a donut) Malasada: 3/5 (but perhaps not fair because it wasn't hot, and maybe I've realized now I don't really love malasadas) Kamehameha Bakery is my favorite bakery on island for donuts/fritters!

One simple suggestion for a great experience: GO EARLY! Basically go as early as you can because they have the most selection when they first open. [Handicap/Disabled] the parking is terrible. The stalls are narrow and because of how people park it can make getting in and out of your car difficult. There are no nearby handicap parking stalls though it would be greatly appreciated especially if they would put in stalls with access aisles.

Their poi donuts NEVER disappoint!! Knocked a star off because the chocolate covered donut was a bit oily.. like it left a weird film feeling on the tongue. Other than that everything was delicious as usual. I would suggest going early! Hubby went around 8am & they were already quite sold out of some of the goodies I wanted. Nonetheless, so so good!

Looks awesome - tastes awesome - great variety - great hours - great service! It's a popular & busy establishment so exercise patience (or go elsewhere...or bake your own)

We had a lovely experience at this little bakery. The poi mochi donut was amazing, still warm when we got them. A lot of other stuff looked amazing and the smells were great. The people working the counter were very quick and friendly.

Poi Malasadas is killahz but the other day I was chewing something that wasn’t no malasada. Spit it out to find a Bloody bandaid that was still wrapped together like it slid off a finger of someone who wasn’t wearing gloves to prep um considering an open cut.
