Max 90 minutes stay. If you expect comfy dinner, do not go. If you expect to eat and rush out like Genki, it might be ok. They will chase you like you are eating at cheap AYCE place, once you hit 90 min.
Rule is rule, so 90 min may be ok. But dealing with a server with attitude and frowned face because you are staying 5 min longer for not finishing your bottle and food can ruin your dinner. Food quality is below average for the price. It was about $100/person with tips. Please go somewhere else.

Just came from dinner here. All around amazing experience! I got one of their platters and a bunch of the individual pieces. Also tried a bunch of their special menu pieces. Absolutely fantastic food. Well prepared, delicious, affordable, friendly... nothing bad to say about this restaurant. I would recommend everyone go here.

This place offers an excellent sushi experience with fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation. The sashimi platter was diverse and flavorful, the uni hand roll was rich and creamy, and the anago was perfectly tender. However, the wait time was a bit long, and the service, while good, could have been more attentive. Overall, a fantastic spot for high-quality sushi at a reasonable price—just be prepared for a slight wait during peak hours!

Great food and love the automatic food delivery by the tables. To be thrown out after 89 minutes and forfeiting my drinks is however a bit strang.

The staff at this restaurant are unacceptable. They abruptly kicked us out while we were placing a takeout order, showing a complete lack of courtesy. I will definitely not be returning.

A hidden gem. Clean, charming place. Great sushi, reasonable prices for amazing quality. Order and food comes out on an automated train system to your table. Like a way higher quality Genki!
We will definitely come back!

Best Japanese restaurant here, don’t know who give the bad reviews. We are from Boston and over the past 3 years we’ve been visiting here every year, and nothing has changed, same high quality food and fair price.

Image 1: Costs $11, but the taste is just average. It’s not as good as the à la carte sashimi for $3–$4, which is much fattier.
Image 2: The platter with three kinds of sashimi was mediocre, except for the uni.
Image 3: Highly recommend the fried dishes—cheap and delicious! The fried oysters and fried vegetables with shrimp were great.
Image 4: This is Kobora’s uni. I mistakenly ordered the $7 regular uni sushi instead.
Image 5: The fried platter was average overall; only the fried oysters and vegetables are worth ordering individually.
sushi is all quite good, with options like sweet shrimp and scallops—my favorite is the sweet shrimp. The special uni was already sold out by the time we arrived at 8 PM, and the sea urchin egg was gone too. Reservations are necessary. Even if you arrive an hour early, you’ll still need to wait until the exact seating time to be seated.

Restaurantji Recommends
The fish was very stale and poorly seasoned, the price was not expensive but unreasonable (tasted bad). Some black line in a piece of fish and we have no idea what it is…the worst sushi place in Waikiki.
Went for lunch. Ordered unagi, tamago for and 15 piece set. It was terrible. Not very fresh and worse than the all you can eat at some places..

Katsumidori Sushi is one of the best sushi places in Oahu, Hawaii. Most of the fishes are flown from their headquarter in Tokyo, Japan. In my opinion, it is on different level of other local sushi-ya. I love their seasonal selections especially the Hikarimono (Blue Fish) based. I can eat here every day. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for best possible sushi you can have in the Island.

Loved this place! Some of the best tuna I've ever had, with a lot of variety in presentation and flavors. Will be coming back!
