KatsuMidori Waikiki is just a with-it destination. Food quality and service is great. Staff is wonderful and helpful. A not-one-thing but all details together make this an outstanding destination. FYI, 90min dining limit. Well advertised, not a suprise.

The experiencee was very clinical and unpersonal. Orders are placed on tablet devices and the servers were regimented with virtually no customer interaction. Get 'em in, and get 'em out was the apparent business model. One of the aspects I enjoy is interacting with the servers and getting recommendations or perspectives based on what I've had in the past and might like to try. This was non-existent. As a result, the experience was gray, sterile and unmemorable. The food, and price point; however, were excellent. For this reason I recommend Katsumidori Sushi Tokyo. If you're looking for an experience you may want to consider another restaurant. If quality sushi, presentation, and price are important this is your place.

I took my coworker for her birthday. The ingredients was very fresh which made the taste excellent and the moritsuke made it more appetizing. Great value for what you're getting.

Katsumidori is always good for the price that you paid. It is not fancy, but its good place to go for sushi without spending much. We got our usual items and everything was fine.

Our 1st time. Our reservation was 5pm and it was mostly empty. We only stayed about 45minutes of our 90 minute limit yet we still felt rushed. It would have been nice if our server gave us a tip if there was a better way to eat the Sekiwake entree. I saw a vlog of another restaurant advising to go left to right from less fatty to fatty. I also had to ask which was the sea urchin. I guess not a place for novice sushi lovers who want to experience something different. Except for the shrimp, all the other fish was fresh, tender and delicious.

Beautiful sushi - slice of fish topping the sushi was double the size of most other sushi restaurants! Fish was very fresh. Ordering on the tablet was easy and sushi orders came out on the conveyer belt shortly after ordering. Servers were professional, quick and efficient in serving teishoku sets and drinks. Only a 90 minute time limit but didn't feel rushed because everything was served so quickly- very little time spent waiting. Loved the way the booth were screened/partitioned to allow lots of privacy. This is now my favorite sushi restaurant. Only drawback is the $$$$ parking for valet or self- park.
Great authentic Japanese cuisine. Will definitely come back again. This has become one of my favorite restaurants in Hawaii.

We have previously dined here. It was always a 4-5 star experience. My guests and I felt the quality of food was disappointing this time. We hope this was just this one time. The sushi just didn't seem fresh.

Considering the fish is flown in from Japan, the cost for the quality of fish is outstanding. The size of the cuts were very generous in my opinion. Love eating there and consider this one of my go to sushi spots. I would recommend trying to get reservations as I have been here for lunch and had to wait up to 30 min before. However I dined on a Monday night with a 6:30 reservation. It was relatively empty and people were walking in and being seated. Mostly tourist will visit this spot since it's located within a hotel but more locals should eat here.

I try to order sushi nigiri set and I asked waitress that if I can exchange to something else? cause I have allergies to shellfish…..
They said we can’t do that…… That’s so mess up…..
I explain my health condition to waitress…
but they said it’s our rules…. I told them if I have to paid extra, I will be happy to pay it….
