We like coming to this place after our hike. Pretty crowded but it's worth the wait. No cash transactions only debit or credit. Good breakfast selections and reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

It's good after hiking in the morning. Not too crowded and fast service. Seating is kind of tight so you might make some new friends.

Koa Pancake House is a local staple for a reason. If you’re looking for a hearty, high-quality breakfast that won’t break the bank, this is the spot. The breakfast burritos are absolutely awesome—packed with flavor, generously sized, and always hit the spot.
What really sets this place apart is the efficiency. The service is incredibly quick and reliable, making it perfect for a fast morning meal without sacrificing quality. In a time where prices seem to be rising everywhere, the value you get here is genuinely unbeatable. It’s easily my go-to for a solid, affordable breakfast!

The taste was good. I recommend the Benedict’s. Hashbrowns a little too oily for my taste, but good too.

A hearty breakfast for under $15. I got the trio which featured eggs, bacon, sausage and Portuguese sausages + buttermilk pancakes for $13.50. A cup of water is offered by the drink machine. Pancakes were a bit dry but I'm told the Funky Monkey pancakes are delicious. Daily Specials appeared on a back wall. This place can get busy.

this is a painfully honest impression and review.
We got there early, after driving across the island, and was glad to see w it was open. early, not busy, expected awesome! not even close. ordering off a QR code and paying and tipping before served(credit cards only) mind you I am usually a 30-50% tipper just to support wait staff. so food arrived in 3minutes I'm like wow, how cool! not even close fried potatoes were cool not exactly cold but they were hot half an hour ago. eggs bennys(my favorite splurge) Luke warm. I would have waited the 8-12 minutes for thoughtfully prepared food, but alas...it was terrible. link sausage? once again Luke warm. I don't complain to staff because their in house policy comes from the top down...my advice? avoid this place.

I’ve been coming here every Saturday for over 4 years….we were away on a trip and just got back. Couldn’t wait to get out good breakfast. Just picked up our order and all wasn’t cooked right, rice clumpy, steak tasted like it was boiled. No grill taste at all. Super disappointed..the must have changed cooks or something.

Food doesn't travel well, so best to dine in if you can. Berries for chocolate berry pancakes were thawed frozen strawberries. Free paved parking.

Bland foods. The Pancake House in Kalihi next to the Firestone Tire Warehouse is much better. Gives 3 think pancakes plus Coconut and maple syrup. Thicker bacon. 3 instead of two thin ones. Eggs are bigger. ORIGINAL PANCAKE HOUSE on Waiakamilo Street. Yummy! ;)

The macadamia nut pancakes are to die for but more importantly they have the best service in town. Every employee was so friendly and genuinely kind and helpful.
