Kobe is a mixed blessing. Much like your favorite elderly uncle or auntie they may be a bit thread worn but they are all heart and friendly. We had great service and food. I would recommend this place for being in the heart of Ewa Waikiki AND allowing large groups to be seated together (there is a whole upstairs unused most nights) plus is BYOB alcohol ($ saved). The food is tasty and the prices are reasonable for the quality of food you get, especially if you buy the discounted Costco gift cards. An added bonus is you can bring your own dessert for birthdays and it is BYOB. This place has been a family favorite for , however, the facility is going down hill and portions of the restaurant are no longer in use. The entire restaurant needs a thorough cleaning and there is a definite odor throughout .
A delightful experience shared with another party around the cooking grill. The cook to order food was delicious and the chef entertaining. The bar is closed for renovation so you must BYOB.
