Parking: Street parkingThere is no space to sit and eat. It was a bit uncomfortable because there was a homeless person in front of the store. There are no other menu items, but they only sell grilled abalone. You have to wait about 20-30 minutes after ordering.I ordered 2 pieces in size M (about $40). The abalone was fresh, but it was small so it wasn't enough for two people to eat together. The garlic butter and miso garlic seasoning were also disappointing than I expected.I think it would have been more delicious if it came with rice and salad like poke. I was disappointed because there was a long wait and the taste and quantity were less than I expected. I heard that the abalone farm in Kona has more quantity and is more delicious, but I don't know because I haven't been there yet.

Visited 20240215. Currently, we only sell grilled abalone or live abalone. Of course we sell canned goods ?I bought live abalone and ate it with liver soy sauce. It was crunchy and very delicious ??Prices vary depending on size, and we sell from 1 piece ☺️

Delicious abalone, highly recommend you stop here. Very fresh, lets you pick various sizes and sauces. DO NOT SKIP. IT IS WORTH THE STOP.

The abalone very fresh, their best seller is garlic butter. Somehow my order was very salty. I wish I had ordered other flavors that are less processed

Looks good but tastes like salty squid meat. First time trying abalone

My go-to place for fresh, ethically farmed and clean abalone! I always buy from here whenever I need to make abalone porridge or sautéed whole abalone with garlic! If you do buy it live, I guess I should try to sashimi style it at least once, but I'm not a fan of prepping them live. Unfortunately, I've never had a chance to buy frozen ones at the on-site location. Maybe someone can give me the inside scoop on how to order the pre-frozen bags? Is it online order only and can you pick up in the store or do they ship it to you for an extra charge? The website is rather lacking in terms of details! Help! But you do get a 10% kama'aina discount that I always apply! The store hours are a little inconvenient but well worth the effort. These abalone are very clean and I use the intestines for Korean porridge as well (albeit removing the mouth/teeth/antenna parts).

Best part of our trip to Honolulu. I'm not even kidding, it was our first bite of the trip and the rest of the trip, we couldn't stop thinking about it and had to go back one more time before flying home. I recommend calling or ordering ahead before you arrive because it does take about 30 minutes to cook them. The person who helped us was super nice and helped explain the differences on the menu. Get the variety, you really need to try all the flavors they have

We happened to stumble upon this shop while walking by, and I'm so glad we did! I haven't have abalone cooked any other way other than at Chinese banquets, so I was excited to try it prepared differently. We ordered the garlic butter flavor and chose the small abalone. It was cooked perfectly and I appreciated that they cut it into smaller pieces for easy consumption. We liked it so much, we ended up buying the canned abalone (semi-smoked) to take home! I haven't opened it up yet, but I'm excited to.

Surprisingly the ginger flavor is my favorite, it actually feels more like light wasabi (the fresh ones) which didn’t cover abalone’s original flavor but still adds the taste. The grill is perfect, fully cooked but not over cook. The cook time is a bit of wait so prepare (~20 min without any body ahead of me).

They no longer make cooked abalone . Not sure why ? Maybe no cooks? Cooks hard to find these days .But you park, you go in, different sizes of live or frozen abalone. You pay, you leave, you take your abalone where ever you going , prepare it whatever way you like . What more to review ? Oh don't forget your 10 % kamaaina discount .

New person running store. No bentos. No bowls, curry or soups. Only abalone. If you want the cooked flavored abalone, 25 minute wait.

They don’t even sell cooked food anymore, just live abalone. Don’t bother to go if you’re planning to get food to eat.
